2 Chronicles 24:27
ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಭಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯ ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಅರಸುಗಳ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಅವನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನೂ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯುವವರನ್ನೂ ಬಡಿಗಿಯವರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡರು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡರು.

ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಯೆಹೋವದ್ದಾನಳು; ಈಕೆಯು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
