ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ನಷ್ಟವು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಆಯಿತು. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡಲು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ ನಿಂಷಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊರಟನು.
