ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ನಾಶಮಾಡು ವದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ನೋಡಿ ಆ ಕೇಡಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪಶ್ಚಾ ತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ದೂತನಿಗೆ--ಸಾಕು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯನಾದ ಒರ್ನಾನನ ಕಣದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ (ಈಗ ಇದು ಸಾಕು.) ಇನ್ನು ಬಲವಾದ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳೂ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಇರದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
