1 Samuel 3:17
ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಏಲಿ ಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತೇನು? ನನಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಕಲ ವಾರ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಬೆಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಒಂದು ಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ಮಿತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ-- ಬೆಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೇ, ಕನಸಾಗಲಿ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸದಿರಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಬೆಲ್ತೆಶ ಚ್ಚರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಆ ಕನಸು ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
Micah 2:7
ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವ ರೆಂದು ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡವರೇ, ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಯಿತೋ? ಇವು ಆತನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೋ? ಯಥಾ ರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಾದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜೀವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
