யோசுவா 22:33
அந்தச் செய்தி இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் பார்வைக்கு நன்றாயிருந்தது; ஆகையால் ரூபன் புத்திரரும் காத் புத்திரரும் குடியிருக்கிற தேசத்தை அழித்துவிட, அவர்கள்மேல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படுவோம் என்கிற பேச்சைவிட்டு, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்தார்கள்.

அந்தச் செய்தி இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் பார்வைக்கு நன்றாக இருந்தது; ஆகவே ரூபனுடைய வம்சத்தார்களும் காத்தின் வம்சத்தார்களும் குடியிருக்கிற தேசத்தை அழித்துவிட, அவர்கள்மேல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படுவோம் என்கிற பேச்சை விட்டு, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தேவனை ஸ்தோத்தரித்தார்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களும் திருப்தி கொண்டனர். அவர்கள் சந்தோஷமடைந்து தேவனுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்தனர். ரூபன், காத், மனாசே ஆகிய ஜனங்களுக்குக் கெதிராகப் போர் செய்ய வேண்டாமென முடிவெடுத்தனர். அந்த ஜனங்கள் வாழும் இடத்தை அழிக்க வேண்டாம் எனவும் முடிவு செய்தனர்.
