Psalm 94
1 हे यहोवा, हे पलटा लेने वाले ईश्वर, हे पलटा लेने वाले ईश्वर, अपना तेज दिखा!
2 हे पृथ्वी के न्यायी उठ; और घमण्ड़ियों को बदला दे!
3 हे यहोवा, दुष्ट लोग कब तक, दुष्ट लोग कब तक डींग मारते रहेंगे?
4 वे बकते और ढ़िठाई की बातें बोलते हैं, सब अनर्थकारी बड़ाई मारते हैं।
5 हे यहोवा, वे तेरी प्रजा को पीस डालते हैं, वे तेरे निज भाग को दु:ख देते हैं।
6 वे विधवा और परदेशी का घात करते, और अनाथों को मार डालते हैं;
7 और कहते हैं, कि याह न देखेगा, याकूब का परमेश्वर विचार न करेगा॥
8 तुम जो प्रजा में पशु सरीखे हो, विचार करो; और हे मूर्खों तुम कब तक बुद्धिमान हो जाओगे?
9 जिसने कान दिया, क्या वह आप नहीं सुनता? जिसने आंख रची, क्या वह आप नहीं देखता?
10 जो जाति जाति को ताड़ना देता, और मनुष्य को ज्ञान सिखाता है, क्या वह न समझाएगा?
11 यहोवा मनुष्य की कल्पनाओं को तो जानता है कि वे मिथ्या हैं॥
12 हे याह, क्या ही धन्य है वह पुरूष जिस को तू ताड़ना देता है, और अपनी व्यवस्था सिखाता है,
13 क्योंकि तू उसको विपत्ति के दिनों में उस समय तक चैन देता रहता है, जब तक दुष्टों के लिये गड़हा नहीं खोदा जाता।
14 क्योंकि यहोवा अपनी प्रजा को न तजेगा, वह अपने निज भाग को न छोड़ेगा;
15 परन्तु न्याय फिर धर्म के अनुसार किया जाएगा, और सारे सीधे मन वाले उसके पीछे पीछे हो लेंगे॥
16 कुकर्मियों के विरुद्ध मेरी ओर कौन खड़ा होगा? मेरी ओर से अनर्थकारियों का कौन साम्हना करेगा?
17 यदि यहोवा मेरा सहायक न होता, तो क्षण भर में मुझे चुपचाप होकर रहना पड़ता।
18 जब मैं ने कहा, कि मेरा पांव फिसलने लगा है, तब हे यहोवा, तेरी करूणा ने मुझे थाम लिया।
19 जब मेरे मन में बहुत सी चिन्ताएं होती हैं, तब हे यहोवा, तेरी दी हुई शान्ति से मुझ को सुख होता है।
20 क्या तेरे और दुष्टों के सिंसाहन के बीच सन्धि होगी, जो कानून की आड़ में उत्पात मचाते हैं?
21 वे धर्मी का प्राण लेने को दल बान्धते हैं, और निर्दोष को प्राणदण्ड देते हैं।
22 परन्तु यहोवा मेरा गढ़, और मेरा परमेश्वर मेरी शरण की चट्टान ठहरा है।
23 और उसने उनका अनर्थ काम उन्हीं पर लौटाया है, और वह उन्हें उन्हीं की बुराई के द्वारा सन्यानाश करेगा; हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा उन को सत्यानाश करेगा॥
1 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
1 हे परमेश्वर, अपनी करूणा के अनुसार मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर; अपनी बड़ी दया के अनुसार मेरे अपराधों को मिटा दे।
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 मुझे भलीं भांति धोकर मेरा अधर्म दूर कर, और मेरा पाप छुड़ाकर मुझे शुद्ध कर!
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 मैं तो अपने अपराधों को जानता हूं, और मेरा पाप निरन्तर मेरी दृष्टि में रहता है।
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 मैं ने केवल तेरे ही विरुद्ध पाप किया, और जो तेरी दृष्टि में बुरा है, वही किया है, ताकि तू बोलने में धर्मी और न्याय करने में निष्कलंक ठहरे।
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 देख, मैं अधर्म के साथ उत्पन्न हुआ, और पाप के साथ अपनी माता के गर्भ में पड़ा॥
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 देख, तू हृदय की सच्चाई से प्रसन्न होता है; और मेरे मन ही में ज्ञान सिखाएगा।
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 जूफा से मुझे शुद्ध कर, तो मैं पवित्र हो जाऊंगा; मुझे धो, और मैं हिम से भी अधिक श्वेत बनूंगा।
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 मुझे हर्ष और आनन्द की बातें सुना, जिस से जो हडि्डयां तू ने तोड़ डाली हैं वह मगन हो जाएं।
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 अपना मुख मेरे पापों की ओर से फेर ले, और मेरे सारे अधर्म के कामों को मिटा डाल॥
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 हे परमेश्वर, मेरे अन्दर शुद्ध मन उत्पन्न कर, और मेरे भीतर स्थिर आत्मा नये सिरे से उत्पन्न कर।
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 मुझे अपने साम्हने से निकाल न दे, और अपने पवित्र आत्मा को मुझ से अलग न कर।
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 अपने किए हुए उद्धार का हर्ष मुझे फिर से दे, और उदार आत्मा देकर मुझे सम्भाल॥
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 तब मैं अपराधियों को तेरा मार्ग सिखाऊंगा, और पापी तेरी ओर फिरेंगे।
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 हे परमेश्वर, हे मेरे उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर, मुझे हत्या के अपराध से छुड़ा ले, तब मैं तेरे धर्म का जयजयकार करने पाऊंगा॥
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 हे प्रभु, मेरा मुंह खोल दे तब मैं तेरा गुणानुवाद कर सकूंगा।
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 क्योंकि तू मेलबलि से प्रसन्न नहीं होता, नहीं तो मैं देता; होमबलि से भी तू प्रसन्न नहीं होता।
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 टूटा मन परमेश्वर के योग्य बलिदान है; हे परमेश्वर, तू टूटे और पिसे हुए मन को तुच्छ नहीं जानता॥
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 प्रसन्न होकर सिय्योन की भलाई कर, यरूशलेम की शहरपनाह को तू बना,
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 तब तू धर्म के बलिदानों से अर्थात सर्वांग पशुओं के होमबलि से प्रसन्न होगा; तब लोग तेरी वेदी पर बैल चढ़ाएंगे॥
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
