Psalm 82
1 परमेश्वर की सभा में परमेश्वर ही खड़ा है; वह ईश्वरों के बीच में न्याय करता है।
2 तुम लोग कब तक टेढ़ा न्याय करते और दुष्टों का पक्ष लेते रहोगे?
3 कंगाल और अनाथों का न्याय चुकाओ, दीन दरिद्र का विचार धर्म से करो।
4 कंगाल और निर्धन को बचा लो; दुष्टों के हाथ से उन्हें छुड़ाओ॥
5 वे न तो कुछ समझते और न कुछ बूझते हैं, परन्तु अन्धेरे में चलते फिरते रहते हैं; पृथ्वी की पूरी नीव हिल जाती है॥
6 मैं ने कहा था कि तुम ईश्वर हो, और सब के सब परमप्रधान के पुत्र हो;
7 तौभी तुम मनुष्यों की नाईं मरोगे, और किसी प्रधान के समान गिर जाओगे॥
8 हे परमेश्वर उठ, पृथ्वी का न्याय कर; क्योंकि तू ही सब जातियों को अपने भाग में लेगा!

2 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
3 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
4 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
5 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
6 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
7 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
8 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
9 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

1 मूढ़ ने अपने मन में कहा है, कि कोई परमेश्वर है ही नहीं। वे बिगड़ गए, उन्होंने कुटिलता के घिनौने काम किए हैं; कोई सुकर्मी नहीं॥
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 परमेश्वर ने स्वर्ग पर से मनुष्यों के ऊपर दृष्टि की ताकि देखे कि कोई बुद्धि से चलने वाला वा परमेश्वर को पूछने वाला है कि नहीं॥
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 वे सब के सब हट गए; सब एक साथ बिगड़ गए; कोई सुकर्मी नहीं, एक भी नहीं॥ क्या उन सब अनर्थकारियों को कुछ भी ज्ञान नहीं?
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 जो मेरे लोगों को ऐसे खाते हैं जैसे रोटी और परमेश्वर का नाम नहीं लेते?
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 वहां उन पर भय छा गया जहां भय का कोई कारण न था। क्योंकि यहोवा ने उनकी हडि्डयों को, जो तेरे विरुद्ध छावनी डाले पड़े थे, तितर बितर कर दिया; तू ने तो उन्हें लज्जित कर दिया इसलिये कि परमेश्वर ने उन को निकम्मा ठहराया है॥
There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 भला होता कि इस्राएल का पूरा उद्धार सिय्योन से निकलता! जब परमेश्वर अपनी प्रजा को बन्धुवाई से लौटा ले आएगा तब याकूब मगन और इस्राएल आनन्दित होगा॥
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
