Psalm 57
1 हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरा शरणागत हूं; और जब तक ये आपत्तियां निकल न जाएं, तब तक मैं तेरे पंखों के तले शरण लिए रहूंगा।
2 मैं परम प्रधान परमेश्वर को पुकारूंगा, ईश्वर को जो मेरे लिये सब कुछ सिद्ध करता है।
3 ईश्वर स्वर्ग से भेजकर मुझे बचा लेगा, जब मेरा निगलने वाला निन्दा कर रहा हो। परमेश्वर अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई प्रगट करेगा॥
4 मेरा प्राण सिंहों के बीच में है, मुझे जलते हुओं के बीच में लेटना पड़ता है, अर्थात ऐसे मनुष्यों के बीच में जिन के दांत बर्छी और तीर हैं, और जिनकी जीभ तेज तलवार है॥
5 हे परमेश्वर तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान और तेजोमय है, तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!
6 उन्होंने मेरे पैरों के लिये जाल लगाया है; मेरा प्राण ढला जाता है। उन्होंने मेरे आगे गड़हा खोदा, परन्तु आप ही उस में गिर पड़े॥
7 हे परमेश्वर, मेरा मन स्थिर है, मेरा मन स्थिर है; मैं गाऊंगा वरन भजन कीर्तन करूंगा।
8 हे मेरी आत्मा जाग जा! हे सारंगी और वीणा जाग जाओ। मैं भी पौ फटते ही जाग उठूंगा।
9 हे प्रभु, मैं देश के लोगों के बीच तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा; मैं राज्य राज्य के लोगों के बीच में तेरा भजन गाऊंगा।
10 क्योंकि तेरी करूणा स्वर्ग तक बड़ी है, और तेरी सच्चाई आकाशमण्डल तक पहुंचती है॥
11 हे परमेश्वर, तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान है! तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!

2 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
3 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
4 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
5 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
6 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
7 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
8 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
9 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
10 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
11 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
12 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

1 मूढ़ ने अपने मन में कहा है, कि कोई परमेश्वर है ही नहीं। वे बिगड़ गए, उन्होंने कुटिलता के घिनौने काम किए हैं; कोई सुकर्मी नहीं॥
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 परमेश्वर ने स्वर्ग पर से मनुष्यों के ऊपर दृष्टि की ताकि देखे कि कोई बुद्धि से चलने वाला वा परमेश्वर को पूछने वाला है कि नहीं॥
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 वे सब के सब हट गए; सब एक साथ बिगड़ गए; कोई सुकर्मी नहीं, एक भी नहीं॥ क्या उन सब अनर्थकारियों को कुछ भी ज्ञान नहीं?
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 जो मेरे लोगों को ऐसे खाते हैं जैसे रोटी और परमेश्वर का नाम नहीं लेते?
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 वहां उन पर भय छा गया जहां भय का कोई कारण न था। क्योंकि यहोवा ने उनकी हडि्डयों को, जो तेरे विरुद्ध छावनी डाले पड़े थे, तितर बितर कर दिया; तू ने तो उन्हें लज्जित कर दिया इसलिये कि परमेश्वर ने उन को निकम्मा ठहराया है॥
There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 भला होता कि इस्राएल का पूरा उद्धार सिय्योन से निकलता! जब परमेश्वर अपनी प्रजा को बन्धुवाई से लौटा ले आएगा तब याकूब मगन और इस्राएल आनन्दित होगा॥
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
