Psalm 22
1 हे मेरे परमेश्वर, हे मेरे परमेश्वर, तू ने मुझे क्यों छोड़ दिया? तू मेरी पुकार से और मेरी सहायता करने से क्यों दूर रहता है? मेरा उद्धार कहां है?
2 हे मेरे परमेश्वर, मैं दिन को पुकारता हूं परन्तु तू उत्तर नहीं देता; और रात को भी मैं चुप नहीं रहता।
3 परन्तु हे तू जो इस्राएल की स्तुति के सिहांसन पर विराजमान है, तू तो पवित्र है।
4 हमारे पुरखा तुझी पर भरोसा रखते थे; वे भरोसा रखते थे, और तू उन्हें छुड़ाता था।
5 उन्होंने तेरी दोहाई दी और तू ने उन को छुड़ाया वे तुझी पर भरोसा रखते थे और कभी लज्जित न हुए॥
6 परन्तु मैं तो कीड़ा हूं, मनुष्य नहीं; मनुष्यों में मेरी नामधराई है, और लोगों में मेरा अपमान होता है।
7 वह सब जो मुझे देखते हैं मेरा ठट्ठा करते हैं, और ओंठ बिचकाते और यह कहते हुए सिर हिलाते हैं,
8 कि अपने को यहोवा के वश में कर दे वही उसको छुड़ाए, वह उसको उबारे क्योंकि वह उससे प्रसन्न है।
9 परन्तु तू ही ने मुझे गर्भ से निकाला; जब मैं दूधपिउवा बच्च था, तब ही से तू ने मुझे भरोसा रखना सिखलाया।
10 मैं जन्मते ही तुझी पर छोड़ दिया गया, माता के गर्भ ही से तू मेरा ईश्वर है।
11 मुझ से दूर न हो क्योंकि संकट निकट है, और कोई सहायक नहीं।
12 बहुत से सांढ़ों ने मुझे घेर लिया है, बाशान के बलवन्त सांढ़ मेरे चारों ओर मुझे घेरे हुए हैं।
13 वह फाड़ने और गरजने वाले सिंह की नाईं मुझ पर अपना मुंह पसारे हुए है॥
14 मैं जल की नाईं बह गया, और मेरी सब हडि्डयों के जोड़ उखड़ गए: मेरा हृदय मोम हो गया, वह मेरी देह के भीतर पिघल गया।
15 मेरा बल टूट गया, मैं ठीकरा हो गया; और मेरी जीभ मेरे तालू से चिपक गई; और तू मुझे मारकर मिट्टी में मिला देता है।
16 क्योंकि कुत्तों ने मुझे घेर लिया है; कुकर्मियों की मण्डली मेरी चारों ओर मुझे घेरे हुए है; वह मेरे हाथ और मेरे पैर छेदते हैं।
17 मैं अपनी सब हडि्डयां गिन सकता हूं; वे मुझे देखते और निहारते हैं;
18 वे मेरे वस्त्र आपस में बांटते हैं, और मेरे पहिरावे पर चिट्ठी डालते हैं।
19 परन्तु हे यहोवा तू दूर न रह! हे मेरे सहायक, मेरी सहायता के लिये फुर्ती कर!
20 मेरे प्राण को तलवार से बचा, मेरे प्राण को कुत्ते के पंजे से बचा ले!
21 मुझे सिंह के मुंह से बचा, हां, जंगली सांढ़ों के सींगो में से तू ने मुझे बचा लिया है॥
22 मैं अपने भाइयों के साम्हने तेरे नाम का प्रचार करूंगा; सभा के बीच में तेरी प्रशंसा करूंगा।
23 हे यहोवा के डरवैयों उसकी स्तुति करो! हे याकूब के वंश, तुम सब उसकी महिमा करो! हे इस्त्राएल के वंश, तुम उसका भय मानो!
24 क्योंकि उसने दु:खी को तुच्छ नहीं जाना और न उससे घृणा करता है, ओर न उससे अपना मुख छिपाता है; पर जब उसने उसकी दोहाई दी, तब उसकी सुन ली॥
25 बड़ी सभा में मेरा स्तुति करना तेरी ही ओर से होता है; मैं अपने प्रण को उससे भय रखने वालों के साम्हने पूरा करूंगा
26 नम्र लोग भोजन करके तृप्त होंगे; जो यहोवा के खोजी हैं, वे उसकी स्तुति करेंगे। तुम्हारे प्राण सर्वदा जीवित रहें!
27 पृथ्वी के सब दूर दूर देशों के लोग उसको स्मरण करेंगे और उसकी ओर फिरेंगे; और जाति जाति के सब कुल तेरे साम्हने दण्डवत करेंगे।
28 क्योंकि राज्य यहोवा की का है, और सब जातियों पर वही प्रभुता करता है॥
29 पृथ्वी के सब हृष्टपुष्ट लोग भोजन करके दण्डवत करेंगे; वह सब जितने मिट्टी में मिल जाते हैं और अपना अपना प्राण नहीं बचा सकते, वे सब उसी के साम्हने घुटने टेकेंगे।
30 एक वंश उसकी सेवा करेगा; दूसरा पीढ़ी से प्रभु का वर्णन किया जाएगा।
31 वह आएंगे और उसके धर्म के कामों को एक वंश पर जो उत्पन्न होगा यह कहकर प्रगट करेंगे कि उसने ऐसे ऐसे अद्भुत काम किए॥

2 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
3 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
4 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
5 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
6 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
7 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
8 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
9 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
10 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
11 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
12 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
13 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
14 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
15 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
16 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
17 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
18 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
19 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
20 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
21 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
22 Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
23 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
24 Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
25 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
26 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
27 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
28 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
29 For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.
30 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
31 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
32 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
Job 28 in Tamil and English
1 “এমন জায়গা আছে যেখানে মানুষ রূপো পায়, এমন জায়গা আছে যেখানে মানুষ সোনা গলিযে খাঁটি করে|
Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.
2 মানুষ মাটি খুঁড়ে লোহা বের করে| পাথর গলিযে তামা নিষ্কাসন করে|
Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.
3 কর্মীরা গুহার মধ্যে আলো নিয়ে যায়| ওরা গুহার গভীরে অন্বেষণ করে| গভীর অন্ধকারে ওরা পাথর খোঁজে|
He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
4 খনি-দণ্ডের ওপর কাজ করবার সময় খনির কর্মীরা গভীর পর্য়ন্ত মাটি খোঁড়ে| মানুষ যেখানে বাস করে তারা তার চেয়েও অনেক গভীর পর্য়ন্ত খোঁড়ে, এমন গভীরে যেখানে লোক আগে কখনও যায় নি| তারা দড়িতে অনেক অনেক গভীর পর্য়ন্ত ঝুলতে থাকে|
The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
5 মাটির ওপরে ফসল ফলে, কিন্তু মাটির তলা সম্পূর্ণ অন্যরকম, সব কিছুই য়েন আগুনের দ্বারা গলিত হয়ে রযেছে|
As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
6 মাটির নীচে নীলকান্ত মণি এবং খাঁটি সোনা রযেছে|
The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.
7 বুনো পাখিরা মাটির নীচের পথ সম্পর্কে কিছুই জানে না| কোন শকুন সেই অন্ধকার পথ দেখে নি|
There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
8 বন্য পশুরাও কোন দিন সে পথে হাঁটে নি| সিংহও কোন দিন সেই পথে হাঁটে নি|
The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
9 শ্রমিকরা দৃঢ়তম পাথরকেও ভেঙে ফেলে| ঐ শ্রমিকরা সমস্ত পর্বত খুঁড়ে খনি উন্মুক্ত করে|
He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
10 শ্রমিকরা পাথর কেটে সুড়ঙ্গ তৈরী করে| তারা সব রকমের দামী পাথর দেখতে পায়|
He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
11 শ্রমিকরা জলকে বাঁধ্বার জন্য বাঁধ তৈরী করে| তারা লুকানো সম্পদকে প্রকাশ্যে নিয়ে আসে|
He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.
12 “কিন্তু প্রজ্ঞা কোথায় খুঁজে পাওয়া যাবে? আমরা কোথায় বোধশক্তি খুঁজতে যাবো?
But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
13 আমরা জানি না প্রজ্ঞা কি মূল্যবান জিনিস| পৃথিবীর লোক মাটি খুঁড়ে প্রজ্ঞা পেতে পারে না|
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
14 গভীর মহাসমুদ্র বলে, ‘আমার কাছে প্রজ্ঞা নেই|’ সমুদ্র বলে, ‘আমার কাছে প্রজ্ঞা নেই|’
The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
15 সব চেয়ে খাঁটি সোনার বিনিময়েও তুমি প্রজ্ঞা কিনতে পারবে না| পৃথিবীতে প্রজ্ঞা কেনার মতো য়থেষ্ট রূপো নেই|
It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
16 ওফীরের সোনা বা অকীক মণি বা নীলকান্ত মণি দিয়েও প্রজ্ঞা কেনা যায় না|
It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
17 প্রজ্ঞা সোনা ও স্?টিকের থেকেও মূল্যবান| এমনকি মূল্যবান রত্নখচিত সোনাও প্রজ্ঞা কিনতে পারে না|
The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
18 প্রবাল বা মণির চেয়েও প্রজ্ঞা মূল্যবান| মুক্তোর থেকেও প্রজ্ঞা মূল্যবান|
No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
19 কূশদেশীয পোখরাজ মণিও প্রজ্ঞার মতো সমমূল্যের নয়| তুমি খাঁটি সোনা দিয়েও প্রজ্ঞা কিনতে পারবে না|
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
20 “তাহলে প্রজ্ঞা কোথা থেকে আসে? বোধশক্তি খুঁজতে আমরা কোথায় যাবো?
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
21 পৃথিবীর প্রত্যেকটি জীবন্ত বিষয়ের থেকেই প্রজ্ঞা নিজেকে লুকিয়ে রেখেছে| আকাশের পাখিরা পর্য়ন্ত প্রজ্ঞাকে দেখতে পায় না|
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
22 মৃত্যু ও ধ্বংস বলে, ‘আমরা প্রজ্ঞাকে খুঁজে পাই নি| আমরা শুধু তার সম্পর্কে গুঞ্জন শুনেছি|’
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
23 “একমাত্র ঈশ্বরই প্রজ্ঞার পথ জানেন| একমাত্র ঈশ্বরই জানেন প্রজ্ঞা কোথায় থাকে|
God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
24 ঈশ্বর পৃথিবীর প্রান্ত পর্য়ন্ত দেখতে পান| আকাশের নীচে সব কিছুই ঈশ্বর দেখতে পান|
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
25 ঈশ্বর বাযুর গুরুত্ব নিরূপণ করেছেন|
To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
26 তিনিই বৃষ্টির নিয়ম এবং সেখানে কতটা জল থাকবে এবং মেঘ গর্জনের পথ স্থির করেছেন|
When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
27 সেই সময় ঈশ্বর প্রজ্ঞাকে দেখেছিলেন এবং এসম্পর্কে ভেবেছিলেন| ঈশ্বর দেখিয়েছিলেন প্রজ্ঞা কত মূল্যবান| এবং ঈশ্বরই প্রজ্ঞার প্রতীক|”
Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
28 ঈশ্বর মানুষকে বললেন: “প্রভুকে শ্রদ্ধা করো ও ভয় কর সেটাই প্রজ্ঞা| কোন মন্দ কাজ করো না এটাই সর্বোত্তম উপল?|”
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
