Job 38 in Hindi

1 तब यहोवा ने अय्यूब को आँधी में से यूं उत्तर दिया,

2 यह कौन है जो अज्ञानता की बातें कहकर युक्ति को बिगाड़ना चाहता है?

3 पुरुष की नाईं अपनी कमर बान्ध ले, क्योंकि मैं तुझ से प्रश्न करता हूँ, और तू मुझे उत्तर दे।

4 जब मैं ने पृथ्वी की नेव डाली, तब तू कहां था? यदि तू समझदार हो तो उत्तर दे।

5 उसकी नाप किस ने ठहराई, क्या तू जानता है उस पर किस ने सूत खींचा?

6 उसकी नेव कौन सी वस्तु पर रखी गई, वा किस ने उसके कोने का पत्थर बिठाया,

7 जब कि भोर के तारे एक संग आनन्द से गाते थे और परमेश्वर के सब पुत्र जयजयकार करते थे?

8 फिर जब समुद्र ऐसा फूट निकला मानो वह गर्भ से फूट निकला, तब किस ने द्वार मूंदकर उसको रोक दिया;

9 जब कि मैं ने उसको बादल पहिनाया और घोर अन्धकार में लपेट दिया,

10 और उसके लिये सिवाना बान्धा और यह कहकर बेंड़े और किवाड़े लगा दिए, कि

11 यहीं तक आ, और आगे न बढ़, और तेरी उमंडने वाली लहरें यहीं थम जाएं?

12 क्या तू ने जीवन भर में कभी भोर को आज्ञा दी, और पौ को उसका स्थान जताया है,

13 ताकि वह पृथ्वी की छोरों को वश में करे, और दुष्ट लोग उस में से झाड़ दिए जाएं?

14 वह ऐसा बदलता है जैसा मोहर के नीचे चिकनी मिट्टी बदलती है, और सब वस्तुएं मानो वस्त्र पहिने हुए दिखाई देती हैं।

15 दुष्टों से उनका उजियाला रोक लिया जाता है, और उनकी बढ़ाई हुई बांह तोड़ी जाती है।

16 क्या तू कभी समुद्र के सोतों तक पहुंचा है, वा गहिरे सागर की थाह में कभी चला फिरा है?

17 क्या मृत्यु के फाटक तुझ पर प्रगट हुए, क्या तू घोर अन्धकार के फाटकों को कभी देखन पाया है?

18 क्या तू ने पृथ्वी की चौड़ाई को पूरी रीति से समझ लिया है? यदि तू यह सब जानता है, तो बतला दे।

19 उजियाले के निवास का मार्ग कहां है, और अन्धियारे का स्थान कहां है?

20 क्या तू उसे उसके सिवाने तक हटा सकता है, और उसके घर की डगर पहिचान सकता है?

21 नि:सन्देह तू यह सब कुछ जानता होगा! क्योंकि तू तो उस समय उत्पन्न हुआ था, और तू बहुत आयु का है।

22 फिर क्या तू कभी हिम के भणडार में पैठा, वा कभी ओलों के भणडार को तू ने देखा है,

23 जिस को मैं ने संकट के समय और युद्ध और लड़ाई के दिन के लिये रख छोड़ा है?

24 किस मार्ग से उजियाला फैलाया जाता है, ओर पुरवाई पृथ्वी पर बहाई जाती है?

25 महावृष्टि के लिये किस ने नाला काटा, और कड़कने वाली बिजली के लिये मार्ग बनाया है,

26 कि निर्जन देश में और जंगल में जहां कोई मनुष्य नहीं रहता मेंह बरसाकर,

27 उजाड़ ही उजाड़ देश को सींचे, और हरी घास उगाए?

28 क्या मेंह का कोई पिता है, और ओस की बूंदें किस ने उत्पन्न की?

29 किस के गर्भ से बर्फ निकला है, और आकाश से गिरे हुए पाले को कौन उत्पन्न करता है?

30 जल पत्थर के समान जम जाता है, और गहिरे पानी के ऊपर जमावट होती है।

31 क्या तू कचपचिया का गुच्छा गूंथ सकता वा मृगशिरा के बन्धन खोल सकता है?

32 क्या तू राशियों को ठीक ठीक समय पर उदय कर सकता, वा सप्तर्षि को साथियों समेत लिए चल सकता है?

33 क्या तू आकाशमण्डल की विधियां जानता और पृथ्वी पर उनका अधिकार ठहरा सकता है?

34 क्या तू बादलों तक अपनी वाणी पहुंचा सकता है ताकि बहुत जल बरस कर तुझे छिपा ले?

35 क्या तू बिजली को आज्ञा दे सकता है, कि वह जाए, और तुझ से कहे, मैं उपस्थित हूँ?

36 किस ने अन्त:करण में बुद्धि उपजाई, और मन में समझने की शक्ति किस ने दी है?

37 कौन बुद्धि से बादलों को गिन सकता है? और कौन आकाश के कुप्पों को उण्डेल सकता है,

38 जब धूलि जम जाती है, और ढेले एक दूसरे से सट जाते हैं?

39 क्या तू सिंहनी के लिये अहेर पकड़ सकता, और जवान सिंहों का पेट भर सकता है,

40 जब वे मांद में बैठे हों और आड़ में घात लगाए दबक कर बैठे हों?

41 फिर जब कौवे के बच्चे ईश्वर की दोहाई देते हुए निराहार उड़ते फिरते हैं, तब उन को आहार कौन देता है?

1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?

36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
