Jeremiah 44:13
सो जैसा मैं ने यरूशलेम को तलवार, महंगी और मरी के द्वारा दण्ड दिया है, वैसा ही मिस्र देश में रहने वालों को भी दण्ड दूंगा,

| of Egypt, | מִצְרַ֔יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |
| as | כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| punished have I | פָּקַ֖דְתִּי | pāqadtî | pa-KAHD-tee |
| עַל | ʿal | al | |
| Jerusalem, | יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם | yĕrûšālāim | yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM |
| by the sword, | בַּחֶ֖רֶב | baḥereb | ba-HEH-rev |
| famine, the by | בָּרָעָ֖ב | bārāʿāb | ba-ra-AV |
| and by the pestilence: | וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ | ûbaddāber | oo-va-DA-ver |
