Jeremiah 32:36
परन्तु अब इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा इस नगर के विषय में, जिसके लिये तुम लोग कहते हो कि वह तलवार, महंगी और मरी के द्वारा बाबुल के राजा के वश में पड़ा हुआ है यों कहता है:

| Israel, of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| concerning | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| this | הָעִ֨יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| city, | הַזֹּ֔את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| whereof | אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| ye | אַתֶּ֣ם | ʾattem | ah-TEM |
| say, | אֹמְרִ֗ים | ʾōmĕrîm | oh-meh-REEM |
| delivered be shall It | נִתְּנָה֙ | nittĕnāh | nee-teh-NA |
| into the hand | בְּיַ֣ד | bĕyad | beh-YAHD |
| king the of | מֶֽלֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| of Babylon | בָּבֶ֔ל | bābel | ba-VEL |
| sword, the by | בַּחֶ֖רֶב | baḥereb | ba-HEH-rev |
| and by the famine, | וּבָרָעָ֥ב | ûbārāʿāb | oo-va-ra-AV |
| and by the pestilence; | וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ | ûbaddāber | oo-va-DA-ver |
