पतरस दूर ही दूर से उसके पीछे पीछे महायाजक के आंगन के भीतर तक गया, और प्यादों के साथ बैठ कर आग तापने लगा।

ஆனால், தண்ணீரின் மேல் நடந்து சென்றபொழுது பேதுரு காற்றடிப்பதையும் அலைகள் வீசுவதையும் கண்டான். பயந்து போன பேதுரு, நீரில் மூழ்க ஆரம்பித்தான். உடனே பேதுரு “ஆண்டவரே, என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்” என்று அலறினான்.
