וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם said uh-lay-HEM מֶֽה unto meh עָשִׂ֥יתִי them, ah-SEE-tee עַתָּ֖ה What ah-TA כָּכֶ֑ם have ka-HEM הֲלֹ֗א I huh-LOH ט֛וֹב done tove עֹֽלְל֥וֹת now oh-leh-LOTE אֶפְרַ֖יִם in ef-RA-yeem מִבְצִ֥יר comparison meev-TSEER אֲבִיעֶֽזֶר׃ of uh-vee-EH-zer -
בְּיֶדְכֶם֩ hath beh-yed-HEM נָתַ֨ן delivered na-TAHN אֱלֹהִ֜ים into ay-loh-HEEM אֶת your et שָׂרֵ֤י hands sa-RAY מִדְיָן֙ meed-YAHN אֶת the et עֹרֵ֣ב princes oh-RAVE וְאֶת of veh-ET זְאֵ֔ב Midian, zeh-AVE וּמַה oo-MA יָּכֹ֖לְתִּי Oreb ya-HOH-leh-tee עֲשׂ֣וֹת and uh-SOTE כָּכֶ֑ם Zeeb: ka-HEM אָ֗ז and az רָֽפְתָ֤ה what ra-feh-TA רוּחָם֙ was roo-HAHM מֵֽעָלָ֔יו I may-ah-LAV בְּדַבְּר֖וֹ able beh-da-beh-ROH הַדָּבָ֥ר to ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּֽה׃ do ha-ZEH -
וַיָּבֹ֥א Gideon va-ya-VOH גִדְע֖וֹן came ɡeed-ONE הַיַּרְדֵּ֑נָה to ha-yahr-DAY-na עֹבֵ֣ר Jordan, oh-VARE ה֗וּא and hoo וּשְׁלֹשׁ passed oo-sheh-LOHSH מֵא֤וֹת over, may-OTE הָאִישׁ֙ he, ha-EESH אֲשֶׁ֣ר and uh-SHER אִתּ֔וֹ the EE-toh עֲיֵפִ֖ים three uh-yay-FEEM וְרֹֽדְפִֽים׃ hundred veh-ROH-deh-FEEM -
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ he va-YOH-MER לְאַנְשֵׁ֣י said leh-an-SHAY סֻכּ֔וֹת unto SOO-kote תְּנוּ the teh-NOO נָא֙ men na כִּכְּר֣וֹת of kee-keh-ROTE לֶ֔חֶם Succoth, LEH-hem לָעָ֖ם Give, la-AM אֲשֶׁ֣ר I uh-SHER בְּרַגְלָ֑י pray beh-rahɡ-LAI כִּֽי you, kee עֲיֵפִ֣ים loaves uh-yay-FEEM הֵ֔ם of hame וְאָֽנֹכִ֗י bread veh-ah-noh-HEE רֹדֵ֛ף unto roh-DAFE אַֽחֲרֵ֛י the ah-huh-RAY זֶ֥בַח people ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֖ע that veh-tsahl-moo-NA מַלְכֵ֥י follow mahl-HAY מִדְיָֽן׃ me; meed-YAHN -
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ the va-YOH-MER שָׂרֵ֣י princes sa-RAY סֻכּ֔וֹת of SOO-kote הֲ֠כַף Succoth HUH-hahf זֶ֧בַח said, ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֛ע Are veh-tsahl-moo-NA עַתָּ֖ה the ah-TA בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ hands beh-ya-DEH-ha כִּֽי of kee נִתֵּ֥ן Zebah nee-TANE לִֽצְבָאֲךָ֖ and lee-tseh-va-uh-HA לָֽחֶם׃ Zalmunna LA-hem -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Gideon va-YOH-mer גִּדְע֔וֹן said, ɡeed-ONE לָכֵ֗ן Therefore la-HANE בְּתֵ֧ת when beh-TATE יְהוָ֛ה the yeh-VA אֶת Lord et זֶ֥בַח hath ZEH-vahk וְאֶת delivered veh-ET צַלְמֻנָּ֖ע tsahl-moo-NA בְּיָדִ֑י Zebah beh-ya-DEE וְדַשְׁתִּי֙ and veh-dahsh-TEE אֶת Zalmunna et בְּשַׂרְכֶ֔ם into beh-sahr-HEM אֶת mine et קוֹצֵ֥י hand, koh-TSAY הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר then ha-meed-BAHR וְאֶת I veh-ET הַֽבַּרְקֳנִֽים׃ will HA-bahr-koh-NEEM -
וַיַּ֤עַל he va-YA-al מִשָּׁם֙ went mee-SHAHM פְּנוּאֵ֔ל up peh-noo-ALE וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר thence vai-da-BARE אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם to uh-lay-HEM כָּזֹ֑את Penuel, ka-ZOTE וַיַּֽעֲנ֤וּ and va-ya-uh-NOO אוֹתוֹ֙ spake oh-TOH אַנְשֵׁ֣י unto an-SHAY פְנוּאֵ֔ל them feh-noo-ALE כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר likewise: ka-uh-SHER עָנ֖וּ and ah-NOO אַנְשֵׁ֥י the an-SHAY סֻכּֽוֹת׃ men soo-kote -

וְזֶ֨בַח Zebah veh-ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֜ע and veh-tsahl-moo-NA בַּקַּרְקֹ֗ר Zalmunna ba-kahr-KORE וּמַֽחֲנֵיהֶ֤ם were oo-ma-huh-nay-HEM עִמָּם֙ in ee-MAHM כַּֽחֲמֵ֤שֶׁת Karkor, ka-huh-MAY-shet עָשָׂר֙ and ah-SAHR אֶ֔לֶף their EH-lef כֹּ֚ל hosts kole הַנּ֣וֹתָרִ֔ים with HA-noh-ta-REEM מִכֹּ֖ל them, mee-KOLE מַֽחֲנֵ֣ה about ma-huh-NAY בְנֵי fifteen veh-NAY קֶ֑דֶם KEH-dem וְהַנֹּ֣פְלִ֔ים thousand veh-ha-NOH-feh-LEEM מֵאָ֨ה men, may-AH וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים all veh-es-REEM אֶ֛לֶף that EH-lef אִ֖ישׁ were eesh שֹׁ֥לֵֽף left SHOH-lafe חָֽרֶב׃ of HA-rev -

וַיָּנֻ֗סוּ when va-ya-NOO-soo זֶ֚בַח Zebah ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֔ע and veh-tsahl-moo-NA וַיִּרְדֹּ֖ף Zalmunna va-yeer-DOFE אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם fled, ah-huh-ray-HEM וַיִּלְכֹּ֞ד he va-yeel-KODE אֶת pursued et שְׁנֵ֣י׀ after sheh-NAY מַלְכֵ֣י them, mahl-HAY מִדְיָ֗ן and meed-YAHN אֶת took et זֶ֙בַח֙ ZEH-VAHK וְאֶת the veh-ET צַלְמֻנָּ֔ע two tsahl-moo-NA וְכָל kings veh-HAHL הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה of ha-ma-huh-NEH הֶֽחֱרִֽיד׃ Midian, HEH-hay-REED -

וַיִּלְכָּד caught va-yeel-KAHD נַ֛עַר a NA-ar מֵֽאַנְשֵׁ֥י young may-an-SHAY סֻכּ֖וֹת man SOO-kote וַיִּשְׁאָלֵ֑הוּ of va-yeesh-ah-LAY-hoo וַיִּכְתֹּ֨ב the va-yeek-TOVE אֵלָ֜יו men ay-LAV אֶת of et שָׂרֵ֤י Succoth, sa-RAY סֻכּוֹת֙ and soo-KOTE וְאֶת inquired veh-ET זְקֵנֶ֔יהָ of zeh-kay-NAY-ha שִׁבְעִ֥ים him: sheev-EEM וְשִׁבְעָ֖ה and veh-sheev-AH אִֽישׁ׃ he eesh -
וַיָּבֹא֙ he va-ya-VOH אֶל came el אַנְשֵׁ֣י unto an-SHAY סֻכּ֔וֹת the SOO-kote וַיֹּ֕אמֶר men va-YOH-mer הִנֵּ֖ה of hee-NAY זֶ֣בַח Succoth, ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֑ע and veh-tsahl-moo-NA אֲשֶׁר֩ said, uh-SHER חֵֽרַפְתֶּ֨ם Behold hay-rahf-TEM אוֹתִ֜י Zebah oh-TEE לֵאמֹ֗ר and lay-MORE הֲ֠כַף Zalmunna, HUH-hahf זֶ֣בַח with ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֤ע whom veh-tsahl-moo-NA עַתָּה֙ ye ah-TA בְּיָדֶ֔ךָ did beh-ya-DEH-ha כִּ֥י upbraid kee נִתֵּ֛ן me, nee-TANE לַֽאֲנָשֶׁ֥יךָ saying, la-uh-na-SHAY-ha הַיְּעֵפִ֖ים Are ha-yeh-ay-FEEM לָֽחֶם׃ the LA-hem -
וַיִּקַּח֙ he va-yee-KAHK אֶת took et זִקְנֵ֣י zeek-NAY הָעִ֔יר the ha-EER וְאֶת elders veh-ET קוֹצֵ֥י of koh-TSAY הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר the ha-meed-BAHR וְאֶת city, veh-ET הַֽבַּרְקֳנִ֑ים and ha-bahr-koh-NEEM וַיֹּ֣דַע thorns va-YOH-da בָּהֶ֔ם of ba-HEM אֵ֖ת the ate אַנְשֵׁ֥י wilderness an-SHAY סֻכּֽוֹת׃ and soo-kote -

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר said va-YOH-mer אֶל he el זֶ֙בַח֙ unto ZEH-VAHK וְאֶל Zebah veh-EL צַלְמֻנָּ֔ע and tsahl-moo-NA אֵיפֹה֙ Zalmunna, ay-FOH הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים What ha-uh-na-SHEEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר manner uh-SHER הֲרַגְתֶּ֖ם of huh-rahɡ-TEM בְּתָב֑וֹר men beh-ta-VORE וַֽיֹּאמְרוּ֙ were va-yoh-meh-ROO כָּמ֣וֹךָ they ka-MOH-ha כְמוֹהֶ֔ם whom heh-moh-HEM אֶחָ֕ד ye eh-HAHD כְּתֹ֖אַר slew keh-TOH-ar בְּנֵ֥י at beh-NAY הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ Tabor? ha-MEH-lek -
וַיֹּאמַ֕ר he va-yoh-MAHR אַחַ֥י said, ah-HAI בְּנֵֽי They beh-NAY אִמִּ֖י were ee-MEE הֵ֑ם my hame חַי brethren, hai יְהוָ֗ה even yeh-VA ל֚וּ the loo הַֽחֲיִתֶ֣ם sons ha-huh-yee-TEM אוֹתָ֔ם of oh-TAHM לֹ֥א my loh הָרַ֖גְתִּי mother: ha-RAHɡ-tee אֶתְכֶֽם׃ as et-HEM -
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ he va-YOH-MER לְיֶ֣תֶר said leh-YEH-ter בְּכוֹר֔וֹ unto beh-hoh-ROH ק֖וּם Jether koom הֲרֹ֣ג his huh-ROɡE אוֹתָ֑ם firstborn, oh-TAHM וְלֹֽא Up, veh-LOH שָׁלַ֨ף and sha-LAHF הַנַּ֤עַר slay ha-NA-ar חַרְבּוֹ֙ them. hahr-BOH כִּ֣י But kee יָרֵ֔א the ya-RAY כִּ֥י youth kee עוֹדֶ֖נּוּ drew oh-DEH-noo נָֽעַר׃ not NA-ar -
וַיֹּ֜אמֶר Zebah va-YOH-mer זֶ֣בַח and ZEH-vahk וְצַלְמֻנָּ֗ע Zalmunna veh-tsahl-moo-NA ק֤וּם said, koom אַתָּה֙ Rise ah-TA וּפְגַע thou, oo-feh-ɡA בָּ֔נוּ and BA-noo כִּ֥י fall kee כָאִ֖ישׁ upon ha-EESH גְּבֽוּרָת֑וֹ us: ɡeh-voo-ra-TOH וַיָּ֣קָם for va-YA-kome גִּדְע֗וֹן as ɡeed-ONE וַֽיַּהֲרֹג֙ the va-ya-huh-ROɡE אֶת man et זֶ֣בַח is, ZEH-vahk וְאֶת so veh-ET צַלְמֻנָּ֔ע is tsahl-moo-NA וַיִּקַּח֙ his va-yee-KAHK אֶת strength. et הַשַּׂ֣הֲרֹנִ֔ים And ha-SA-huh-roh-NEEM אֲשֶׁ֖ר Gideon uh-SHER בְּצַוְּארֵ֥י arose, beh-tsa-weh-RAY גְמַלֵּיהֶֽם׃ and ɡeh-ma-lay-HEM -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO אִֽישׁ men eesh יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of yees-ra-ALE אֶל Israel el גִּדְע֔וֹן said ɡeed-ONE מְשָׁל unto meh-SHAHL בָּ֙נוּ֙ Gideon, BA-NOO גַּם Rule ɡahm אַתָּ֔ה thou ah-TA גַּם over ɡahm בִּנְךָ֖ us, been-HA גַּ֣ם both ɡahm בֶּן thou, ben בְּנֶ֑ךָ and beh-NEH-ha כִּ֥י thy kee הֽוֹשַׁעְתָּ֖נוּ son, hoh-sha-TA-noo מִיַּ֥ד and mee-YAHD מִדְיָֽן׃ thy meed-YAHN -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Gideon va-YOH-mer אֲלֵהֶם֙ said uh-lay-HEM גִּדְע֔וֹן unto ɡeed-ONE לֹֽא them, loh אֶמְשֹׁ֤ל I em-SHOLE אֲנִי֙ will uh-NEE בָּכֶ֔ם not ba-HEM וְלֹֽא rule veh-LOH יִמְשֹׁ֥ל over yeem-SHOLE בְּנִ֖י you, beh-NEE בָּכֶ֑ם neither ba-HEM יְהוָ֖ה shall yeh-VA יִמְשֹׁ֥ל my yeem-SHOLE בָּכֶֽם׃ son ba-HEM -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר Gideon va-YOH-mer אֲלֵהֶ֜ם said uh-lay-HEM גִּדְע֗וֹן unto ɡeed-ONE אֶשְׁאֲלָ֤ה them, esh-uh-LA מִכֶּם֙ I mee-KEM שְׁאֵלָ֔ה would sheh-ay-LA וּתְנוּ desire oo-teh-NOO לִ֕י a lee אִ֖ישׁ request eesh נֶ֣זֶם of NEH-zem שְׁלָל֑וֹ you, sheh-la-LOH כִּֽי that kee נִזְמֵ֤י ye neez-MAY זָהָב֙ would za-HAHV לָהֶ֔ם give la-HEM כִּ֥י me kee יִשְׁמְעֵאלִ֖ים every yeesh-meh-ay-LEEM הֵֽם׃ man hame -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO נָת֣וֹן answered, na-TONE נִתֵּ֑ן We nee-TANE וַֽיִּפְרְשׂוּ֙ will va-yeef-reh-SOO אֶת willingly et הַשִּׂמְלָ֔ה give ha-seem-LA וַיַּשְׁלִ֣יכוּ them. va-yahsh-LEE-hoo שָׁ֔מָּה And SHA-ma אִ֖ישׁ they eesh נֶ֥זֶם spread NEH-zem שְׁלָלֽוֹ׃ sheh-la-LOH -

וַיַּעַשׂ֩ Gideon va-ya-AS אוֹת֨וֹ made oh-TOH גִדְע֜וֹן an ɡeed-ONE לְאֵפ֗וֹד ephod leh-ay-FODE וַיַּצֵּ֨ג thereof, va-ya-TSAɡE אוֹת֤וֹ and oh-TOH בְעִירוֹ֙ put veh-ee-ROH בְּעָפְרָ֔ה it beh-ofe-RA וַיִּזְנ֧וּ in va-yeez-NOO כָֽל his hahl יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל city, yees-ra-ALE אַֽחֲרָ֖יו even ah-huh-RAV שָׁ֑ם in shahm וַיְהִ֛י Ophrah: vai-HEE לְגִדְע֥וֹן and leh-ɡeed-ONE וּלְבֵית֖וֹ all oo-leh-vay-TOH לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃ Israel leh-moh-KAYSH -
וַיִּכָּנַ֣ע was va-yee-ka-NA מִדְיָ֗ן Midian meed-YAHN לִפְנֵי֙ subdued leef-NAY בְּנֵ֣י before beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the yees-ra-ALE וְלֹ֥א children veh-LOH יָֽסְפ֖וּ of ya-seh-FOO לָשֵׂ֣את Israel, la-SATE רֹאשָׁ֑ם so roh-SHAHM וַתִּשְׁקֹ֥ט that va-teesh-KOTE הָאָ֛רֶץ they ha-AH-rets אַרְבָּעִ֥ים lifted ar-ba-EEM שָׁנָ֖ה up sha-NA בִּימֵ֥י their bee-MAY גִדְעֽוֹן׃ heads ɡeed-ONE -
וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ Jerubbaal va-YAY-lek יְרֻבַּ֥עַל the yeh-roo-BA-al בֶּן son ben יוֹאָ֖שׁ of yoh-ASH וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב Joash va-YAY-shev בְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃ went beh-vay-TOH -
וּלְגִדְע֗וֹן Gideon oo-leh-ɡeed-ONE הָיוּ֙ had ha-YOO שִׁבְעִ֣ים threescore sheev-EEM בָּנִ֔ים and ba-NEEM יֹֽצְאֵ֖י ten yoh-tseh-A יְרֵכ֑וֹ sons yeh-ray-HOH כִּֽי of kee נָשִׁ֥ים his na-SHEEM רַבּ֖וֹת body RA-bote הָ֥יוּ begotten: HA-yoo לֽוֹ׃ for loh -
וּפִֽילַגְשׁוֹ֙ his oo-fee-lahɡ-SHOH אֲשֶׁ֣ר concubine uh-SHER בִּשְׁכֶ֔ם that beesh-HEM יָֽלְדָה was YA-leh-da לּ֥וֹ in loh גַם Shechem, ɡahm הִ֖יא she hee בֵּ֑ן also bane וַיָּ֥שֶׂם bare va-YA-sem אֶת him et שְׁמ֖וֹ a sheh-MOH אֲבִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ son, uh-vee-MEH-lek -
וַיָּ֛מָת Gideon va-YA-mote גִּדְע֥וֹן the ɡeed-ONE בֶּן son ben יוֹאָ֖שׁ of yoh-ASH בְּשֵׂיבָ֣ה Joash beh-say-VA טוֹבָ֑ה died toh-VA וַיִּקָּבֵ֗ר in va-yee-ka-VARE בְּקֶ֙בֶר֙ a beh-KEH-VER יוֹאָ֣שׁ good yoh-ASH אָבִ֔יו old ah-VEEOO בְּעָפְרָ֖ה age, beh-ofe-RA אֲבִ֥י and uh-VEE הָֽעֶזְרִֽי׃ was HA-ez-REE -
וַיְהִ֗י it vai-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ came ka-uh-SHER מֵ֣ת to mate גִּדְע֔וֹן pass, ɡeed-ONE וַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙ as va-ya-SHOO-VOO בְּנֵ֣י soon beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל as yees-ra-ALE וַיִּזְנ֖וּ Gideon va-yeez-NOO אַֽחֲרֵ֣י was ah-huh-RAY הַבְּעָלִ֑ים dead, ha-beh-ah-LEEM וַיָּשִׂ֧ימוּ that va-ya-SEE-moo לָהֶ֛ם the la-HEM בַּ֥עַל children BA-al בְּרִ֖ית of beh-REET לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃ Israel LAY-loh-HEEM -
וְלֹ֤א the veh-LOH זָֽכְרוּ֙ children za-heh-ROO בְּנֵ֣י of beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yees-ra-ALE אֶת remembered et יְהוָ֖ה not yeh-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם ay-loh-hay-HEM הַמַּצִּ֥יל the ha-ma-TSEEL אוֹתָ֛ם Lord oh-TAHM מִיַּ֥ד their mee-YAHD כָּל God, kahl אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֖ם who oh-yeh-vay-HEM מִסָּבִֽיב׃ had mee-sa-VEEV -
וְלֹֽא shewed veh-LOH עָשׂ֣וּ they ah-SOO חֶ֔סֶד kindness HEH-sed עִם to eem בֵּ֥ית the bate יְרֻבַּ֖עַל house yeh-roo-BA-al גִּדְע֑וֹן of ɡeed-ONE כְּכָל Jerubbaal, keh-HAHL הַטּוֹבָ֔ה namely, ha-toh-VA אֲשֶׁ֥ר Gideon, uh-SHER עָשָׂ֖ה according ah-SA עִם to eem יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ all yees-ra-ALE
