यहोशू 21
1 तब लेवियों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूष एलीआज़र याजक, और नून के पुत्र यहोशू, और इस्राएली गोत्रों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूषों के पास आकर
2 कनान देश के शीलो नगर में कहने लगे, यहोवा ने मूसा से हमें बसने के लिये नगर, और हमारे पशुओं के लिये उन्हीं नगरों की चराईयां भी देने की आज्ञा दिलाई थी।
3 तब इस्राएलियों ने यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार अपने अपने भाग में से लेवियों को चराईयों समेत ये नगर दिए॥
4 और कहतियों के कुलों के नाम पर चिट्ठी निकली। इसलिये लेवियों में से हारून याजक के वंश को यहूदी, शिमोन, और बिन्यामीन के गोत्रों के भागों में से तेरह नगर मिले॥
5 और बाकी कहातियों को एप्रैम के गोत्र के कुलों, और दान के गोत्र, और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भागों में से चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दस नगर दिए गए॥
6 और गेर्शोनियों को इस्साकार के गोत्र के कुलों, और आशेर, और नप्ताली के गोत्रों के भागों में से, और मनश्शे के उस आधे गोत्र के भागों में से भी जो बाशान में था चिट्ठी डाल डालकर तेरह नगर दिए गए॥
7 और कुलों के अनुसार मरारियों को रूबेन, गाद, और जबूलून के गोत्रों के भागों में से बारह नगर दिए गए॥
8 जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा से दिलाई भी उसके अनुसार इस्राएलियों ने लेवियों को चराइयों समेत ये नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दिए।
9 उन्होंने यहूदियों और शिमोनियों के गोत्रों के भागों में से थे नगर जिनके नाम लिखे हैं दिए;
10 ये नगर लेवीय कहाती कुलों में से हारून के वंश के लिये थे; क्योंकि पहिली चिट्ठी उन्हीं के नाम पर निकली थी।
11 अर्थात उन्होंने उन को यहूदा के पहाड़ी देश में चारों ओर की चराइयों समेत किर्यतर्बा नगर दे दिया, जो अनाक के पिता अर्बा के नाम पर कहलाया और हेब्रोन भी कहलाता है।
12 परन्तु उस नगर के खेत और उसके गांव उन्होंने यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब को उसकी निज भूमि करके दे दिए॥
13 तब उन्होंने हारून याजक के वंश को चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरण नगर हेब्रोन, और अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत लिब्ना,
14 यत्तीर, एशतमो,
15 होलोन, दबीर, ऐन,
16 युत्ता और बेतशेमेश दिए; इस प्रकार उन दोनों गोत्रों के भागों में से नौ नगर दिए गए।
17 और बिन्यामीन के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत ये चार नगर दिए गए, अर्थात गिबोन, गेबा,
18 अनातोत और अल्मोन
19 इस प्रकार हारूनवंशी याजकों को तेरह नगर और उनकी चराईयां मिली॥
20 फिर बाकी कहाती लेवियों के कुलों के भाग के नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर एप्रैम के गोत्र के भाग में से दिए गए।
21 अर्थात उन को चराइयों समेत एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश में खूनी शरण लेने का शकेम नगर दिया गया, फिर अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत गेजेर,
22 किबसैम, और बेथोरोन; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
23 और दान के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत, एलतके, गिब्बतोन,
24 अय्यालोन, और गत्रिम्मोन; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
25 और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत तानाक और गत्रिम्मोन; ये दो नगर दिए गए।
26 इस प्रकार बाकी कहातियों के कुलों के सब नगर चराइयों समेत दस ठहरे॥
27 फिर लेवियों के कुलों में के गेर्शोनियों को मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरण नगर बाशान का गोलान और बेशतरा; ये दो नगर दिए गए।
28 और इस्साकार के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत किश्योन, दाबरत,
29 यर्मूत, और एनगन्नीम; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
30 और आशेर के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत मिशाल, अब्दोन,
31 हेल्कात, और रहोब; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
32 और नप्ताली के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरण नगर गलील का केदेश, फिर हम्मोतदोर, और कर्तान; ये तीन नगर दिए गए।
33 गेर्शोनियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके सब नगर अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत तेरह ठहरे॥
34 फिर बाकी लेवियों, अर्थात मरारियों के कुलों को जबूलून के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत योक्नाम, कर्ता,
35 दिम्ना, और नहलाल; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
36 और रूबेन के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत बेसेर, यहसा,
37 केदेमोत, और मेपात; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
38 और गाद के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरण नगर गिलाद में का रामोत, फिर महनैम,
39 हेशबोन, और याजेर, जो सब मिलाकर चार नगर हैं दिए गए।
40 लेवियों के बाकी कुलों अर्थात मरारियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके सब नगर ये ही ठहरे, इस प्रकार उन को बारह नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दिए गए॥
41 इस्राएलियों की निज भूमि के बीच लेवियों के सब नगर अपनी अपनी चराइयों समेत अड़तालीस ठहरे।
42 ये सब नगर अपने अपने चारों ओर की चराइयों के साथ ठहरे; इन सब नगरों की यही दशा थी॥
43 इस प्रकार यहोवा ने इस्राएलियों को वह सारा देश दिया, जिसे उसने उनके पूर्वजों से शपथ खाकर देने को कहा था; और वे उसके अधिकारी हो कर उस में बस गए।
44 और यहोवा ने उन सब बातों के अनुसार, जो उसने उनके पूर्वजों से शपथ खाकर कही थीं, उन्हें चारों ओर से विश्राम दिया; और उनके शत्रुओं में से कोई भी उनके साम्हने टिक न सका; यहोवा ने उन सभों को उनके वश में कर दिया।
45 जितनी भलाई की बातें यहोवा ने इस्राएल के घराने से कही थीं उन में से कोई भी न छूटी; सब की सब पूरी हुई॥
1 Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2 And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
3 And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the Lord, these cities and their suburbs.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6 And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7 The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.
9 And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,
10 Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.
11 And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
12 But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13 Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,
14 And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,
15 And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,
16 And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,
18 Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20 And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs; four cities.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,
24 Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; four cities.
25 And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities.
26 All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27 And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh-terah with her suburbs; two cities.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,
29 Jarmuth with her suburbs, En-gannim with her suburbs; four cities.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,
31 Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.
33 All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34 And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,
35 Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,
37 Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.
40 So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.
41 All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
42 These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
43 And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
Exodus 35 in Tamil and English
1 मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली इकट्ठी करके उन से कहा, जिन कामों के करने की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वे ये हैं।
And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.
2 छ: दिन तो काम काज किया जाए, परन्तु सातवां दिन तुम्हारे लिये पवित्र और यहोवा के लिये परमविश्राम का दिन ठहरे; उस में जो कोई काम काज करे वह मार डाला जाए;
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
3 वरन विश्राम के दिन तुम अपने अपने घरों में आग तक न जलाना॥
Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
4 फिर मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली से कहा, जिस बात की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वह यह है।
And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,
5 तुम्हारे पास से यहोवा के लिये भेंट ली जाए, अर्थात जितने अपनी इच्छा से देना चाहें वे यहोवा की भेंट करके ये वस्तुएं ले आएं; अर्थात सोना, रूपा, पीतल;
Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass,
6 नीले, बैंजनी और लाल रंग का कपड़ा, सूक्ष्म सनी का कपड़ा; बकरी का बाल,
And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,
7 लाल रंग से रंगी हुई मेढ़ों की खालें, सुइसों की खालें; बबूल की लकड़ी,
And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
8 उजियाला देने के लिये तेल, अभिषेक का तेल, और धूप के लिये सुगन्धद्रव्य,
And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
9 फिर एपोद और चपरास के लिये सुलैमानी मणि और जड़ने के लिये मणि।
And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
10 और तुम में से जितनों के हृदय में बुद्धि का प्रकाश है वे सब आकर जिस जिस वस्तु की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वे सब बनाएं।
And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the Lord hath commanded;
11 अर्थात तम्बू, और ओहार समेत निवास, और उसकी घुंडी, तख्ते, बेंड़े, खम्भे और कुसिर्यां;
The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
12 फिर डण्डों समेत सन्दूक, और प्रायश्चित्त का ढकना, और बीचवाला पर्दा;
The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,
13 डण्डों और सब सामान समेत मेज़, और भेंट की रोटियां;
The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,
14 सामान और दीपकों समेत उजियाला देनेवाला दीवट, और उजियाला देने के लिये तेल;
The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
15 डण्डों समेत धूपवेदी, अभिषेक का तेल, सुगन्धित धूप, और निवास के द्वार का पर्दा;
And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
16 पीतल की झंझरी, डण्डों आदि सारे सामान समेत होमवेदी, पाए समेत हौदी;
The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
17 खम्भों और उनकी कुसिर्यों समेत आंगन के पर्दे, और आंगन के द्वार के पर्दे;
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
18 निवास और आंगन दोनों के खूंटे, और डोरियां;
The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
19 पवित्रस्थान में सेवा टहल करने के लिये काढ़े हुए वस्त्र, और याजक का काम करने के लिये हारून याजक के पवित्र वस्त्र, और उसके पुत्रों के वस्त्र भी॥
The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
20 तब इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली मूसा के साम्हने से लौट गई।
And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21 और जितनों को उत्साह हुआ, और जितनों के मन में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई थी, वे मिलाप वाले तम्बू के काम करने और उसकी सारी सेवकाई और पवित्र वस्त्रों के बनाने के लिये यहोवा की भेंट ले आने लगे।
And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
22 क्या स्त्री, क्या पुरूष, जितनों के मन में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई भी वे सब जुगनू, नथुनी, मुंदरी, और कंगन आदि सोने के गहने ले आने लगे, इस भांति जितने मनुष्य यहोवा के लिये सोने की भेंट के देने वाले थे वे सब उन को ले आए।
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.
23 और जिस जिस पुरूष के पास नीले, बैंजनी वा लाल रंग का कपड़ा वा सूक्ष्म सनी का कपड़ा, वा बकरी का बाल, वा लाल रंग से रंगी हुई मेढ़ों की खालें, वा सूइसों की खालें थी वे उन्हें ले आए।
And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.
24 फिर जितने चांदी, वा पीतल की भेंट के देने वाले थे वे यहोवा के लिये वैसी भेंट ले आए; और जिस जिसके पास सेवकाई के किसी काम के लिये बबूल की लकड़ी थी वे उसे ले आए।
Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord’s offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
25 और जितनी स्त्रियों के हृदय में बुद्धि का प्रकाश था वे अपने हाथों से सूत कात कातकर नीले, बैंजनी और लाल रंग के, और सूक्ष्म सनी के काते हुए सूत को ले आईं।
And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
26 और जितनी स्त्रियों के मन में ऐसी बुद्धि का प्रकाश था उन्हो ने बकरी के बाल भी काते।
And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.
27 और प्रधान लोग एपोद और चपरास के लिये सुलैमानी मणि, और जड़ने के लिये मणि,
And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
28 और उजियाला देने और अभिषेक और धूप के सुगन्धद्रव्य और तेल ले आये।
And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
29 जिस जिस वस्तु के बनाने की आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा दी थी उसके लिये जो कुछ आवश्यक था, उसे वे सब पुरूष और स्त्रियां ले आई, जिनके हृदय में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई थी। इस प्रकार इस्त्राएली यहोवा के लिये अपनी ही इच्छा से भेंट ले आए॥
The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
30 तब मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों से कहा सुनो, यहोवा ने यहूदा के गोत्र वाले बसलेल को, जो ऊरी का पुत्र और हूर का पोता है, नाम ले कर बुलाया है।
And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
31 और उसने उसको परमेश्वर के आत्मा से ऐसा परिपूर्ण किया हे कि सब प्रकार की बनावट के लिये उसको ऐसी बुद्धि, समझ, और ज्ञान मिला है,
And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
32 कि वह कारीगरी की युक्तियां निकाल कर सोने, चांदी, और पीतल में,
And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
33 और जड़ने के लिये मणि काटने में और लकड़ी के खोदने में, वरन बुद्धि से सब भांति की निकाली हुई बनावट में काम कर सके।
And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.
34 फिर यहोवा ने उसके मन में और दान के गोत्र वाले अहीसामाक के पुत्र ओहोलीआब के मन में भी शिक्षा देने की शक्ति दी है।
And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35 इन दोनों के हृदय को यहोवा ने ऐसी बुद्धि से परिपूर्ण किया है, कि वे खोदने और गढ़ने और नीले, बैजनी और लाल रंग के कपड़े, और सूक्ष्म सनी के कपड़े में काढ़ने और बुनने, वरन सब प्रकार की बनावट में, और बुद्धि से काम निकालने में सब भांति के काम करें॥
Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
