अय्यूब 2:2
यहोवा ने शैतान से पूछा, तू कहां से आता है? शैतान ने यहोवा को उत्तर दिया, कि इधर-उधर घूमते-फिरते और डोलते-डालते आया हूँ।

| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Satan, | הַשָּׂטָ֔ן | haśśāṭān | ha-sa-TAHN |
| From whence | אֵ֥י | ʾê | ay |
| comest | מִזֶּ֖ה | mizze | mee-ZEH |
| thou? And Satan | תָּבֹ֑א | tābōʾ | ta-VOH |
| answered | וַיַּ֨עַן | wayyaʿan | va-YA-an |
| הַשָּׂטָ֤ן | haśśāṭān | ha-sa-TAHN | |
| the Lord, | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| said, and | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| From going to and fro | וַיֹּאמַ֔ר | wayyōʾmar | va-yoh-MAHR |
| earth, the in | מִשֻּׁ֣ט | miššuṭ | mee-SHOOT |
| and from walking up and down | בָּאָ֔רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| in it. | וּמֵֽהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ | ûmēhithallēk | oo-may-heet-ha-LAKE |
