1 फिर बसलेल ने बबूल की लकड़ी का सन्दूक बनाया; उसकी लम्बाई अढ़ाई हाथ, चौड़ाई डेढ़ हाथ, और ऊंचाई डेढ़ हाथ की थी।
2 और उसने उसको भीतर बाहर चोखे सोने से मढ़ा, और उसके चारों ओर सोने की बाड़ बनाई।
3 और उसके चारों पायों पर लगाने को उसने सोने के चार कड़े ढ़ाले, दो कड़े एक अलंग और दो कड़े दूसरी अलंग पर लगे।
4 फिर उसने बबूल के डण्डे बनाए, और उन्हें सोने से मढ़ा,
5 और उन को सन्दूक की दोनो अलंगों के कड़ों में डाला कि उनके बल सन्दूक उठाया जाए।
6 फिर उसने चोखे सोने के प्रायश्चित्त वाले ढकने को बनाया; उसकी लम्बाई अढ़ाई हाथ और चौड़ाई डेढ़ हाथ की थी।
7 और उसने सोना गढ़कर दो करूब प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने के दानों सिरों पर बनाए;
8 एक करूब तो एक सिरे पर, और दूसरा करूब दूसरे सिरे पर बना; उसने उन को प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने के साथ एक ही टुकड़े के दोनों सिरों पर बनाया।
9 और करूबों के पंख ऊपर से फैले हुए बने, और उन पंखों से प्रायश्चित्त का ढकना ढपा हुआ बना, और उनके मुख आम्हने-साम्हने और प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने की ओर किए हुए बने॥
10 फिर उसने बबूल की लकड़ी की मेज़ को बनाया; उसकी लम्बाई दो हाथ, चौड़ाई एक हाथ, और ऊंचाई डेढ़ हाथ की थी;
11 और उसने उसको चोखे सोने से मढ़ा, और उस में चारों ओर सोने की एक बाड़ बनाई।
12 और उसने उसके लिये चार अंगुल चौड़ी एक पटरी, और इस पटरी के लिये चारों ओर सोने की एक बाड़ बनाईं।
13 और उसने मेज़ के लिये सोने के चार कड़े ढालकर उन चारों कोनों में लगाया, जो उसके चारों पायों पर थे।
14 वे कड़े पटरी के पास मेज़ उठाने के डण्डों के खानों का काम देने को बने।
15 और उसने मेज़ उठाने के लिये डण्डों को बबूल की लकड़ी के बनाया, और सोने से मढ़ा।
16 और उसने मेज़ पर का सामान अर्थात परात, धूपदान, कटोरे, और उंडेलने के बर्तन सब चोखे सोने के बनाए॥
17 फिर उसने चोखा सोना गढ़ के पाए और डण्डी समेत दीवट को बनाया; उसके पुष्प कोष, गांठ, और फूल सब एक ही टुकड़े के बने।
18 और दीवट से निकली हुई छ: डालियां बनीं; तीन डालियां तो उसकी एक अलंग से और तीन डालियां उसकी दूसरी अलंग से निकली हुई बनीं।
19 एक एक डाली में बादाम के फूल के सरीखे तीन तीन पुष्प कोष, एक एक गांठ, और एक एक फूल बना; दीवट से निकली हुई, उन छहों डालियों का यही ढब हुआ।
20 और दीवट की डण्डी में बादाम के फूल के सामान अपनी अपनी गांठ और फूल समेत चार पुष्प कोष बने।
21 और दीवट से निकली हुई छहों डालियों में से दो दो डालियों के नीचे एक एक गांठ दीवट के साथ एक ही टुकड़े की बनी।
22 गांठे और डालियां सब दीवट के साथ एक ही टुकड़े की बनीं; सारा दीवट गढ़े हुए चोखे सोने का और एक ही टुकड़े का बना।
23 और उसने दीवट के सातों दीपक, और गुलतराश, और गुलदान, चोखे सोने के बनाए।
24 उसने सारे सामान समेत दीवट को किक्कार भर सोने का बनाया॥
25 फिर उसने बबूल की लकड़ी की धूपवेदी भी बनाईं; उसकी लम्बाई एक हाथ और चौड़ाई एक हाथ ही थी; वह चौकोर बनी, और उसकी ऊंचाई दो हाथ की थी; और उसके सींग उसके साथ बिना जोड़ के बने थे
26 और ऊपर वाले पल्लों, और चारों ओर की अलंगों, और सींगो समेत उसने उस वेदी को चोखे सोने से मढ़ा; और उसकी चारों ओर सोने की एक बाड़ बनाईं,
27 और उस बाड़ के नीचे उसके दोनों पल्लों पर उसने सोने के दो कड़े बनाए, जो उसके उठाने के डण्डों के खानों का काम दें।
28 और डण्डों को उसने बबूल की लकड़ी का बनाया, और सोने से मढ़ा।
29 और उसने अभिषेक का पवित्र तेल, और सुगन्धद्रव्य का धूप, गन्धी की रीति के अनुसार बनाया॥
1 And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:
2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
4 And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
7 And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
9 And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
10 And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:
11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.
12 Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.
13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
14 Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
15 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
16 And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
18 And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
19 Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
21 And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
23 And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
25 And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
28 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
29 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.

1 फारसको राजा दाराको दोस्रो र्बषको छैटौं महिनाको पहिलो दिन हाग्गैलाई परमप्रभुबाट एउटा वचन प्राप्त भयो। यो वचन यरूबाबेल, शालतीएलका छोरा अनि यहोशू यहोसदाकका छोराका निम्ति थियो। शालतीएल यहूदाको राज्यपाल थिए अनि यहोशू प्रधान पूजाहारी थिए। वचन यस प्रकार थियो।
In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
2 सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “मानिसहरू भन्छन्, परमप्रभुको मन्दिर निर्माण गर्ने यो सही समय होइन।”
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.
3 फेरी परमप्रभुको वचन अगमवक्ता हाग्गैबाट आयो, जसमा भनिएको थियो, तिमीहरू सोच्छौ तिम्रो सही समय आइ सक्यो।
Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4 “परमप्रभुको मन्दिर नष्ट भएको समयमा के तिनीहरू काठको घर निर्माण गरेर बस्ने सही समय आएकोछ भनी सम्झन्छौ?
Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
5 यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु भन्नु हुन्छ, ‘जुन कुरा तिमी माथि घटिरहेछ, त्यसको विषयमा सोच्न छोड।
Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 तिमीहरूले रोप्न त धेरै रोप्छौ, तर कट्नी चाँहि कम्ती गर्दछौ। तिमीहरूले खाना त खान्छौ तर भोकै हुन्छौ। तिमीहरूले मद्यपान पनि गर्छौ तर नशा लाग्दैन्, तिमीहरू लुगा पनि लगाउँछौ तर सम्पूर्ण रूपमा तिमीहरूलाई तातो हुँदैन, तिमीहरू काम गरेर ज्याला कमाउँछौ, तिमीहरूलाई थाहा हुँदैन त्यो कहाँ खर्च हुन्छ, तिमीलाई लाग्छ कि गोजीमा छेंड परेकोछ।’”
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7 सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “जे जति तिमीहरूमाथि घटिरहेछ त्यसको बारेमा सोच!
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
8 पहाडमा चढ, काठ ल्याऊ अनि मन्दिर बनाऊ। त्यस समय म मन्दिरबाट प्रसन्न हुन्छु र सम्मानित हुन्छु।” परमप्रभुले यी सबै कुराहरू भन्नुहुन्छ।
Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
9 सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूले धैरे-बाली पाउने आशा गर्छौ, तर थोरै मात्र प्राप्त गर्नेछौ। जे जत्ति तिमीहरूले कमाउँछौ अनि घरमा राख्छौ, त्यसलाई म उडाई दिनेछु। किन? किनकि मेरो मन्दिर नष्ट भएकोछ, तर तिमीहरूलाई आफ्नो-आफ्नो घरको मात्र चिन्ता छ।
Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
10 यसकराण, आकाशबाट शीत झर्न बन्द भएकोछ, र यही कारण भूमिले अन्न उब्जाउन बन्द गरेकोछ, यी सबै तिमीहरूको कारणले भएको हो।”
Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
11 परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “मैले पृथ्वी, पहाडहरू, अन्न,नयाँ दाखरस, भद्राक्षको तेल, अनि सबै ती चिजहरू जुन पृथ्वीमा उम्रन्छन् मानिसहरूका र परिश्रममाथि खडेरी पर्न आदेश दिएको छु।“
And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
12 तब शालतीएलका छोरा यरूबाबेल अनि यहोसादकको छोरा महायाजक यहोशूले सबै बाँचेका मानिसहरूसंग आपनो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको सन्देश अनि उहाँले पठाएउनु भएको अगमवक्ता हाग्गैको वचन स्वीकार गरे अनि मानिसहरू आफ्नो परमेश्वर परमप्रभुसंग डराउन थाले।
Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the Lord.
13 परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको सन्देश-वाहक हाग्गैले मानिसहरूलाई परमप्रभुको सन्देश सुनाए। परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “म तिम्रो साथमा छु।”
Then spake Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the Lord.
14 तब परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले शालतीएलका छोरा यहूदाका राज्यपाल यरूबाबेललाई उत्तेजित गर्नुभयो अनि परमेश्वर परमप्रभुले यहोसादाकका छोरा यहोशूलाई पनि आत्मामा उत्तेजित गर्नुभयो अनि परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले बाँकी सबै मानिसहरूलाई प्रेरित गर्नुभयो। तब तिनीहरू आए अनि तिनीहरूका सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको मन्दिर निर्माणको काम गर्न थाले।
And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God,
15 उनीहरूले यो कार्य राजा दाराको दोस्रो र्बषको छैठौं महिनाको चौबिसौं दिनमा शुरू गरे।
In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
