निर्गमन 21
1 फिर जो नियम तुझे उन को समझाने हैं वे ये हैं॥
2 जब तुम कोई इब्री दास मोल लो, तब वह छ: वर्ष तक सेवा करता रहे, और सातवें वर्ष स्वतंत्र हो कर सेंतमेंत चला जाए।
3 यदि वह अकेला आया हो, तो अकेला ही चला जाए; और यदि पत्नी सहित आया हो, तो उसके साथ उसकी पत्नी भी चली जाए।
4 यदि उसके स्वामी ने उसको पत्नी दी हो और उससे उसके बेटे वा बेटियां उत्पन्न हुई हों, तो उसकी पत्नी और बालक उसके स्वामी के ही रहें, और वह अकेला चला जाए।
5 परन्तु यदि वह दास दृढ़ता से कहे, कि मैं अपने स्वामी, और अपनी पत्नी, और बालकों से प्रेम रखता हूं; इसलिये मैं स्वतंत्र हो कर न चला जाऊंगा;
6 तो उसका स्वामी उसको परमेश्वर के पास ले चले; फिर उसको द्वार के किवाड़ वा बाजू के पास ले जा कर उसके कान में सुतारी से छेद करें; तब वह सदा उसकी सेवा करता रहे॥
7 यदि कोई अपनी बेटी को दासी होने के लिये बेच डाले, तो वह दासी की नाईं बाहर न जाए।
8 यदि उसका स्वामी उसको अपनी पत्नी बनाए, और फिर उससे प्रसन्न न रहे, तो वह उसे दाम से छुड़ाई जाने दे; उसका विश्वासघात करने के बाद उसे ऊपरी लोगों के हाथ बेचने का उसको अधिकार न होगा।
9 और यदि उसने उसे अपने बेटे को ब्याह दिया हो, तो उससे बेटी का सा व्यवहार करे।
10 चाहे वह दूसरी पत्नी कर ले, तौभी वह उसका भोजन, वस्त्र, और संगति न घटाए।
11 और यदि वह इन तीन बातों में घटी करे, तो वह स्त्री सेंतमेंत बिना दाम चुकाए ही चली जाए॥
12 जो किसी मनुष्य को ऐसा मारे कि वह मर जाए, तो वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए।
13 यदि वह उसकी घात में न बैठा हो, और परमेश्वर की इच्छा ही से वह उसके हाथ में पड़ गया हो, तो ऐसे मारने वाले के भागने के निमित्त मैं एक स्थान ठहराऊंगा जहां वह भाग जाए।
14 परन्तु यदि कोई ढिठाई से किसी पर चढ़ाई करके उसे छल से घात करे, तो उसको मार डालने के लिये मेरी वेदी के पास से भी अलग ले जाना॥
15 जो अपने पिता वा माता को मारे-पीटे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए॥
16 जो किसी मनुष्य को चुराए, चाहे उसे ले जा कर बेच डाले, चाहे वह उसके पास पाया जाए, तो वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए॥
17 जो अपने पिता वा माता को श्राप दे वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए॥
18 यदि मनुष्य झगड़ते हों, और एक दूसरे को पत्थर वा मुक्के से ऐसा मारे कि वह मरे नहीं परन्तु बिछौने पर पड़ा रहे,
19 तो जब वह उठ कर लाठी के सहारे से बाहर चलने फिरने लगे, तब वह मारने वाला निर्दोष ठहरे; उस दशा में वह उसके पड़े रहने के समय की हानि तो भर दे, ओर उसको भला चंगा भी करा दे॥
20 यदि कोई अपने दास वा दासी को सोंटे से ऐसा मारे कि वह उसके मारने से मर जाए, तब तो उसको निश्चय दण्ड दिया जाए।
21 परन्तु यदि वह दो एक दिन जीवित रहे, तो उसके स्वामी को दण्ड न दिया जाए; क्योंकि वह दास उसका धन है॥
22 यदि मनुष्य आपस में मारपीट करके किसी गभिर्णी स्त्री को ऐसी चोट पहुचाए, कि उसका गर्भ गिर जाए, परन्तु और कुछ हानि न हो, तो मारने वाले से उतना दण्ड लिया जाए जितना उस स्त्री का पति पंच की सम्मति से ठहराए।
23 परन्तु यदि उसको और कुछ हानि पहुंचे, तो प्राण की सन्ती प्राण का,
24 और आंख की सन्ती आंख का, और दांत की सन्ती दांत का, और हाथ की सन्ती हाथ का, और पांव की सन्ती पांव का,
25 और दाग की सन्ती दाग का, और घाव की सन्ती घाव का, और मार की सन्ती मार का दण्ड हो॥
26 जब कोई अपने दास वा दासी की आंख पर ऐसा मारे कि फूट जाए, तो वह उसकी आंख की सन्ती उसे स्वतंत्र करके जाने दे।
27 और यदि वह अपने दास वा दासी को मारके उसका दांत तोड़ डाले, तो वह उसके दांत की सन्ती उसे स्वतंत्र करके जाने दे॥
28 यदि बैल किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री को ऐसा सींग मारे कि वह मर जाए, तो वह बैल तो निश्चय पत्थरवाह करके मार डाला जाए, और उसका मांस खाया न जाए; परन्तु बैल का स्वामी निर्दोष ठहरे।
29 परन्तु यदि उस बैल की पहिले से सींग मारने की बान पड़ी हो, और उसके स्वामी ने जताए जाने पर भी उसको न बान्ध रखा हो, और वह किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री को मार डाले, तब तो वह बैल पत्थरवाह किया जाए, और उसका स्वामी भी मार डाला जाए।
30 यदि उस पर छुड़ौती ठहराई जाए, तो प्राण छुड़ाने को जो कुछ उसके लिये ठहराया जाए उसे उतना ही देना पड़ेगा।
31 चाहे बैल ने किसी बेटे को, चाहे बेटी को मारा हो, तौभी इसी नियम के अनुसार उसके स्वामी के साथ व्यवहार किया जाए।
32 यदि बैल ने किसी दास वा दासी को सींग मारा हो, तो बैल का स्वामी उस दास के स्वामी को तीस शेकेल रूपा दे, और वह बैल पत्थरवाह किया जाए॥
33 यदि कोई मनुष्य गड़हा खोलकर वा खोदकर उसको न ढांपे, और उस में किसी का बैल वा गदहा गिर पड़े
34 तो जिसका वह गड़हा हो वह उस हानि को भर दे; वह पशु के स्वामी को उसका मोल दे, और लोथ गड़हे वाले की ठहरे॥
35 यदि किसी का बैल किसी दूसरे के बैल को ऐसी चोट लगाए, कि वह मर जाए, तो वे दोनो मनुष्य जीते बैल को बेचकर उसका मोल आपस में आधा आधा बांट ले; और लोथ को भी वैसा ही बांटें।
36 यदि यह प्रगट हो कि उस बैल की पहिले से सींग मारने की बान पड़ी थी, पर उसके स्वामी ने उसे बान्ध नहीं रखा, तो निश्चय यह बैल की सन्ती बैल भर दे, पर लोथ उसी की ठहरे॥
1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself.
5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
11 And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
12 He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
13 And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.
14 But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
15 And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
18 And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:
19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
26 And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake.
27 And if he smite out his manservant’s tooth, or his maidservant’s tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth’s sake.
28 If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.
29 But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.
31 Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.
32 If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
33 And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;
34 The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.
35 And if one man’s ox hurt another’s, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.
36 Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
Exodus 35 in Tamil and English
1 मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली इकट्ठी करके उन से कहा, जिन कामों के करने की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वे ये हैं।
And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.
2 छ: दिन तो काम काज किया जाए, परन्तु सातवां दिन तुम्हारे लिये पवित्र और यहोवा के लिये परमविश्राम का दिन ठहरे; उस में जो कोई काम काज करे वह मार डाला जाए;
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
3 वरन विश्राम के दिन तुम अपने अपने घरों में आग तक न जलाना॥
Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
4 फिर मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली से कहा, जिस बात की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वह यह है।
And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,
5 तुम्हारे पास से यहोवा के लिये भेंट ली जाए, अर्थात जितने अपनी इच्छा से देना चाहें वे यहोवा की भेंट करके ये वस्तुएं ले आएं; अर्थात सोना, रूपा, पीतल;
Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass,
6 नीले, बैंजनी और लाल रंग का कपड़ा, सूक्ष्म सनी का कपड़ा; बकरी का बाल,
And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,
7 लाल रंग से रंगी हुई मेढ़ों की खालें, सुइसों की खालें; बबूल की लकड़ी,
And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
8 उजियाला देने के लिये तेल, अभिषेक का तेल, और धूप के लिये सुगन्धद्रव्य,
And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
9 फिर एपोद और चपरास के लिये सुलैमानी मणि और जड़ने के लिये मणि।
And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
10 और तुम में से जितनों के हृदय में बुद्धि का प्रकाश है वे सब आकर जिस जिस वस्तु की आज्ञा यहोवा ने दी है वे सब बनाएं।
And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the Lord hath commanded;
11 अर्थात तम्बू, और ओहार समेत निवास, और उसकी घुंडी, तख्ते, बेंड़े, खम्भे और कुसिर्यां;
The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
12 फिर डण्डों समेत सन्दूक, और प्रायश्चित्त का ढकना, और बीचवाला पर्दा;
The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,
13 डण्डों और सब सामान समेत मेज़, और भेंट की रोटियां;
The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,
14 सामान और दीपकों समेत उजियाला देनेवाला दीवट, और उजियाला देने के लिये तेल;
The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
15 डण्डों समेत धूपवेदी, अभिषेक का तेल, सुगन्धित धूप, और निवास के द्वार का पर्दा;
And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
16 पीतल की झंझरी, डण्डों आदि सारे सामान समेत होमवेदी, पाए समेत हौदी;
The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
17 खम्भों और उनकी कुसिर्यों समेत आंगन के पर्दे, और आंगन के द्वार के पर्दे;
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
18 निवास और आंगन दोनों के खूंटे, और डोरियां;
The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
19 पवित्रस्थान में सेवा टहल करने के लिये काढ़े हुए वस्त्र, और याजक का काम करने के लिये हारून याजक के पवित्र वस्त्र, और उसके पुत्रों के वस्त्र भी॥
The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
20 तब इस्त्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली मूसा के साम्हने से लौट गई।
And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21 और जितनों को उत्साह हुआ, और जितनों के मन में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई थी, वे मिलाप वाले तम्बू के काम करने और उसकी सारी सेवकाई और पवित्र वस्त्रों के बनाने के लिये यहोवा की भेंट ले आने लगे।
And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
22 क्या स्त्री, क्या पुरूष, जितनों के मन में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई भी वे सब जुगनू, नथुनी, मुंदरी, और कंगन आदि सोने के गहने ले आने लगे, इस भांति जितने मनुष्य यहोवा के लिये सोने की भेंट के देने वाले थे वे सब उन को ले आए।
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.
23 और जिस जिस पुरूष के पास नीले, बैंजनी वा लाल रंग का कपड़ा वा सूक्ष्म सनी का कपड़ा, वा बकरी का बाल, वा लाल रंग से रंगी हुई मेढ़ों की खालें, वा सूइसों की खालें थी वे उन्हें ले आए।
And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.
24 फिर जितने चांदी, वा पीतल की भेंट के देने वाले थे वे यहोवा के लिये वैसी भेंट ले आए; और जिस जिसके पास सेवकाई के किसी काम के लिये बबूल की लकड़ी थी वे उसे ले आए।
Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord’s offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
25 और जितनी स्त्रियों के हृदय में बुद्धि का प्रकाश था वे अपने हाथों से सूत कात कातकर नीले, बैंजनी और लाल रंग के, और सूक्ष्म सनी के काते हुए सूत को ले आईं।
And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
26 और जितनी स्त्रियों के मन में ऐसी बुद्धि का प्रकाश था उन्हो ने बकरी के बाल भी काते।
And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.
27 और प्रधान लोग एपोद और चपरास के लिये सुलैमानी मणि, और जड़ने के लिये मणि,
And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
28 और उजियाला देने और अभिषेक और धूप के सुगन्धद्रव्य और तेल ले आये।
And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
29 जिस जिस वस्तु के बनाने की आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा दी थी उसके लिये जो कुछ आवश्यक था, उसे वे सब पुरूष और स्त्रियां ले आई, जिनके हृदय में ऐसी इच्छा उत्पन्न हुई थी। इस प्रकार इस्त्राएली यहोवा के लिये अपनी ही इच्छा से भेंट ले आए॥
The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
30 तब मूसा ने इस्त्राएलियों से कहा सुनो, यहोवा ने यहूदा के गोत्र वाले बसलेल को, जो ऊरी का पुत्र और हूर का पोता है, नाम ले कर बुलाया है।
And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
31 और उसने उसको परमेश्वर के आत्मा से ऐसा परिपूर्ण किया हे कि सब प्रकार की बनावट के लिये उसको ऐसी बुद्धि, समझ, और ज्ञान मिला है,
And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
32 कि वह कारीगरी की युक्तियां निकाल कर सोने, चांदी, और पीतल में,
And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
33 और जड़ने के लिये मणि काटने में और लकड़ी के खोदने में, वरन बुद्धि से सब भांति की निकाली हुई बनावट में काम कर सके।
And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.
34 फिर यहोवा ने उसके मन में और दान के गोत्र वाले अहीसामाक के पुत्र ओहोलीआब के मन में भी शिक्षा देने की शक्ति दी है।
And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35 इन दोनों के हृदय को यहोवा ने ऐसी बुद्धि से परिपूर्ण किया है, कि वे खोदने और गढ़ने और नीले, बैजनी और लाल रंग के कपड़े, और सूक्ष्म सनी के कपड़े में काढ़ने और बुनने, वरन सब प्रकार की बनावट में, और बुद्धि से काम निकालने में सब भांति के काम करें॥
Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
