और दाऊद सोचने लगा, अब मैं किसी न किसी दिन शाऊल के हाथ से नाश हो जाऊंगा; अब मेरे लिये उत्तम यह है कि मैं पलिश्तियों के देश में भाग जाऊं; तब शाऊल मेरे विषय निराश होगा, और मुझे इस्राएल के देश के किसी भाग में फिर न ढूढ़ेगा, यों मैं उसके हाथ से बच निकलूंगा।

தாவீதின் குமாரனும் எருசலேமின் ராஜாவுமாகிய பிரசங்கியின் வாக்கியங்கள்.
The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.

The words	דִּבְרֵי֙	dibrēy	deev-RAY
of the Preacher,	קֹהֶ֣לֶת	qōhelet	koh-HEH-let
son the	בֶּן	ben	ben
of David,	דָּוִ֔ד	dāwid	da-VEED
king	מֶ֖לֶךְ	melek	MEH-lek
in Jerusalem.	בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃	bîrûšāloim	bee-roo-sha-loh-EEM

And David	וַיֹּ֤אמֶר	wayyōʾmer	va-YOH-mer
said	דָּוִד֙	dāwid	da-VEED
in	אֶל	ʾel	el
his heart,	לִבּ֔וֹ	libbô	LEE-boh
