Genesis 40
1 इन बातों के पश्चात ऐसा हुआ के राजा के पिलानेहारे और पकानेहारे ने अपने स्वामी का कुछ अपराध किया।
2 तब फिरौन ने अपने उन दोनो हाकिमों पर, अर्थात पिलानेहारों के प्रधान, अर पकानेहारों के प्रधान पर क्रोदित होकर
3 उन्हें कैद करा के जल्लादों के प्रधान के घर के उसी बन्दीगृह में, जहां युसुफ बन्धुआ था, डलवा दिया।
4 तब जल्लादों के प्रधान ने उनको यूसुफ के हाथ सौंपा, और वह उनकी सेवा टहल करने लगा: सो वे कुछ दिन तक बन्दीगृह में रहे।
5 और मिस्त्र के राजा का पिलानेहारा और पकानेहारा जो बन्दीगृह में बन्द थे, उन दोनों ने एक ही रात में, अपने होनेहार के अनुसार, स्वपन देखा।
6 बिहान को जब यूसुफ उनके पास अन्दर गया, तब उन पर दृष्टि की, तो क्या देखा, कि वे उदास हैं।
7 सो उसने फिरौन के उन हाकिमों से, जो उसके साथ उसके स्वामी के घर के बन्दीगृह में थे, पूछा, कि आज तुम्हारे मुँह क्यों उदास हैं?
8 उन्होंने उस से कहा, हम दोनो ने स्वपन देखा है, और उनके फल का बताने वाला कोई भी नहीं। यूसुफ ने उनसे कहा, क्या स्वपनों का फल कहना परमेश्वर का काम नहीं? मुझे अपना अपना स्वपन बताओ।
9 तब पिलानेहारों का प्रधान अपना स्वपन यूसुफ को यों बताने लगा: किमैंने स्वपन में देखा, कि मेरे सामने दाखलता है;
10 और उस दाखलता में तीन डालियां हैं: और उसमें मानो कलियां लगी हैं, और वे फूलीं और उसके गुच्छों में दाक लगकर पक गई:
11 और फिरौन का कटोरा मेरे हाथ में था : सो मैंने उन दाखों को लेकर फिरौन के कटोरे में निचोड़ा, और कटोरे को फिरौन के हाथ में दिया।
12 यूसुफ ने उस से कहा, इसका फल यह है; कि तीन डालियों का अर्थ तीन दिन है :
13 सो अब से तीन दिन के भीतर तेरा सर ऊँचा करेगा, और फिर से तेरे पद पर तुझे नियुक्त करेगा, और तू पहले की नाईं फिरौन का पिलानेहारा होकर उसका कटोरा उसके हाथ में फिर दिया करेगा
14 सो जब तेरा भला हो जाए तब मुझे स्मरण करना, और मुझ पर कृपा करके फिरौन से मेरी चर्चा चलाना, अर इस घर से मुझे छुड़वा देना।
15 क्योंकि सचमुच इब्रानियों के देश से मुझे चुरा कर ले आए हैं, और यहां भी मैंने कोई ऐसा काम नहीं किया, जिसके कारण मैं इस कारागार में डाला जाऊं।
16 यह देखकर, कि उसके स्वपन का फल अच्छा निकला, पकानेहारों के प्रधान ने यूसुफ से कहा, मैंने भी स्वपन देखा है, वह यह है : मैंने देखा, कि मेरे सिर पर सफेद रोटी की तीन टोकरियां हैं :
17 और ऊपर की टोकरी में फिरौन के लिए सब प्रकार की पकी पकाई वस्तुएं हैं; और पक्षी मेरे सिर पर की टोकरी में से उन वस्तुओं को खा रहे हैं।
18 यूसुफ ने कहा, इसका फल यह है; तीन टोकरियों का अर्थ तीन दिन है।
19 सो अब से तीन दिन के भीतर फिरौन तेरा सिर कटवाकर तुझे एक वृक्ष पर टंगवा देगा, और पक्षी तेरे मांस को नोच नोच कर खाएंगे।
20 और तीसरे दिन फिरौन का जन्मदिन था, उसने अपने सब कर्मचारियों की जेवनार की, और उसने पिलानेहारों के प्रधान, और पकानेहारों के प्रधान दोनों को बन्दीगृह से निकलवाया।
21 और पिलानेहारों के प्रधान को तो पिलानेहारे के पद पर फिर से नियुक्त किया, और वह फिरौन के हाथ में कटोरा देने लगा।
22 पर पकानेहारों के प्रधान को उस ने टंगवा दिया, जैसा कि यूसुफ ने उनके स्वपनों का फल उअन्से कहा था।
23 फिर भी पिलानेहारों के प्रधान ने यूसुफ को स्मरण ना रखा; परन्तु उसे भूल गया ॥
1 And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.
2 And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.
5 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.
6 And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.
7 And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.
9 And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;
10 And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
11 And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.
12 And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:
13 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
14 But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
15 For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
16 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:
17 And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.
18 And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:
19 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
20 And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
21 And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:
22 But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
2 Peter 3 in Tamil and English
1 ప్రియులారా, యీ రెండవ పత్రిక మీకిప్పుడు వ్రాయుచున్నాను
This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 పరిశుద్ధ ప్రవక్తలచేత పూర్వమందు పలుకబడిన మాటలను, ప్రభువైన రక్షకుడు మీ అపొస్తలుల ద్వారా ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞను మీరు జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనవలెనను విషయమును మీకు జ్ఞాపకముచేసి, నిర్మలమైన మీ మనస్సులను రేపుచున్నాను.
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 అంత్య దినములలో అపహాసకులు అపహసించుచువచ్చి, తమ స్వకీయ దురాశలచొప్పున నడుచుకొనుచు,
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 ఆయన రాకడను గూర్చిన వాగ్దాన మేమాయెను? పితరులు నిద్రించినది మొదలుకొని సమస్త మును సృష్టి ఆరంభముననున్నట్టే నిలిచి యున్నదే అని చెప్పుదురని మొదట మీరు తెలిసికొనవ
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 ఏలయనగా పూర్వమునుండి ఆకాశముండెననియు, నీళ్లలో నుండియు నీళ్లవలనను సమకూర్చబడిన భూమియు దేవుని వాక్యమువలన కలిగెననియు వారు బుద్ధిపూర్వకముగా మరతురు.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 ఆ నీళ్లవలన అప్పుడున్న లోకము నీటివరదలో మునిగి నశించెను.
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 అయితే ఇప్పుడున్న ఆకాశమును భూమియు భక్తిహీనుల తీర్పును నాశనమును జరుగు దినమువరకు అగ్నికొరకు నిలువచేయబడినవై, అదే వాక్యమువలన భద్రము చేయబడియున్నవి.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 ప్రియులారా, ఒక సంగతి మరచిపోకుడి. ఏమనగా ప్రభువు దృష్టికి ఒక దినము వెయ్యిసంవత్సరములవలెను, వెయ్యిసంవత్సరములు ఒక దినమువలెను ఉన్నవి.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 కొందరు ఆలస్యమని యెంచుకొనునట్లు ప్రభువు తన వాగ్దానమును గూర్చి ఆలస్యము చేయువాడు కాడు గాని యెవడును నశింపవలెనని యిచ్ఛయింపక, అందరు మారుమనస్సు పొందవలెనని కోరుచు, మీ యెడల ధీర్ఘశాంతముగలవాడై యున్నాడు.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 అయితే ప్రభువు దినము దొంగవచ్చినట్లు వచ్చును. ఆ దినమున ఆకాశములు మహాధ్వనితో గతించి పోవును, పంచభూతములు మిక్కటమైన వేండ్రముతో లయమైపోవును, భూమియు దానిమీదన
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 ఇవన్నియు ఇట్లు లయమై పోవునవి గనుక, ఆకాశములు రవులుకొని లయమైపోవు నట్టియు, పంచభూతములు మహావేండ్రముతో కరిగిపోవు నట్టియు,
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 దేవుని దినపు రాకడకొరకు కనిపెట్టుచు, దానిని ఆశతో అపేక్షించుచు, మీరు పరిశుద్ధమైన ప్రవర్తనతోను భక్తితోను ఎంతో జాగ్రత్తగలవారై యుండవలెను.
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 అయినను మనమాయన వాగ్దానమునుబట్టి క్రొత్త ఆకాశములకొరకును క్రొత్త భూమికొరకును కనిపెట్టు చున్నాము; వాటియందు నీతి నివసించును.
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 ప్రియులారా, వీటికొరకు మీరు కనిపెట్టువారు గనుక శాంతముగలవారై, ఆయన దృష్టికి నిష్కళంకులు గాను నిందారహితులుగాను కనబడునట్లు జాగ్రత్త పడుడి.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 మరియు మన ప్రభువుయొక్క దీర్ఘశాంతము రక్షణార్థమైనదని యెంచుకొనుడి. ఆలాగు మన ప్రియ సహోదరుడైన పౌలుకూడ తనకు అనుగ్రహింపబడిన జ్ఞానము చొప్పున మీకు వ్రాసి యున్నాడు.
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 వీటిని గూర్చి తన పత్రికలన్నిటిలోను బోధించుచున్నాడు; అయితే వాటిలో కొన్నిసంగతులు గ్రహించుటకు కష్టమైనవి. వీటిని విద్యావిహీనులును, అస్థిరులైనవారును, తక్కిన లేఖనములను అపార్థముచేసినట్లు, తమ స్వకీయ నాశనమునకు అపార్థము చేయుదురు.
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 ప్రియులారా, మీరు ఈ సంగతులు ముందుగా తెలిసికొనియున్నారు గనుక మీరు నీతివిరోధుల తప్పుబోధవలన తొలగింపబడి, మీకు కలిగిన స్థిరమనస్సును విడిచి పడిపోకుండ కాచు కొనియుండుడి.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 మన ప్రభువును రక్షకుడునైన యేసుక్రీస్తు అనుగ్రహించు కృపయందును జ్ఞానమందును అభి వృద్ధిపొందుడి. ఆయనకు ఇప్పుడును యుగాంతదినము వరకును మహిమ కలుగును గాక. ఆమేన్.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
