மேற்சொல்லியவைகளின் முக்கியமான பொருளென்னவெனில்; பரலோகத்திலுள்ள மகத்துவ ஆசனத்தின் வலது பாரிசத்திலே உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவருமாய்,

மன்னன் இவ்வாறு கூறியதைக் கேட்ட ஞானிகள் அங்கிருந்து செல்லும்போது அவர்கள் கிழக்கில் தாங்கள் கண்ட அதே நட்சத்திரத்தை மீண்டும் பார்த்தனர். ஞானிகள் அந்த நட்சத்திரத்தைப் பின்தொடர்ந்தனர். நட்சத்திரம் அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலேயே சென்று குழந்தை பிறந்த இடத்திற்கு மேலாக வந்து நின்றது.
