1 Samuel 6:4
પલિસ્તીઓએ કહ્યું, “આપણને માંફ કરવા માંટે આપણે ઇસ્રાએલના દેવને અર્પણમાં શુ મોકલવું?”તેથી તેઓએ કહ્યું, “આપણી પાસે પાઁચ પલિસ્તી સરદારો છે, તેથી આપણે ઉંદરના પાંચ સોનાના નમૂના અને ગુમડાં જેવા લાગતા પાંચ સોનાના નમૂના મોકલવા જોઇએ કારણ તમને અને તમાંરા સરદારો તે જ મુશ્કેલીથી પીડાતા હતા.

ઉંદરો દેશનો નાશ કરી રહ્યાં હતા, અને લોકો પણ ગુમડાંથી હેરાન થયા. તેથી ઉંદરના પાંચ સોનાના નમૂના અને ગુમડાં ના પાંચ સોનાના નમૂના બનાવો અને ઇસ્રાએલના દેવને તેમની પ્રશંસામાં અર્પણ કરો. જેથી દેવ તમને તમાંરા દેવોને અને તમાંરી ભૂમિને સજા કરવાનું બંધ કરે.
