તે મહાન શહેર ત્રણ ભાગમા વહેંચાઇ ગયું. રાષ્ટ્રોનાં તે શહેરનો નાશ થયો હતો. અને દેવ મહાન બાબિલોનને શિક્ષા કરવાનું ભૂલ્યા નહિ. તે શહેરને તેના ભયંકર કોપના દ્રાક્ષારસનું ભરેલું પ્યાલું આપ્યું.

તેના કપાળ પર એક શીર્ષક (નામ) લખાયેલું હતું, આ શીર્ષકનો ગુપ્ત અર્થ છે. જેનું લખાણ આ પ્રમાણે હતું:હે મહાન બાબિલોન વેશ્યાઓની માતા અને પૃથ્વી પરની દુષ્ટ બાબતોની માતા
