Revelation 12:4
તે અજગરના પૂંછડાએ આકાશના તારાઓનો ત્રીજો ભાગ ખેંચીને પૃથ્વી પર નીચે ફેંકયો. તે અજગર તે સ્ત્રીની સામે આવ્યો અને ઊભો રહ્યો જે બાળકને જન્મ આપવાની તૈયારીમાં હતી. તે અજગરની ઈચ્છા જ્યારે તે સ્ત્રીનું બાળક જન્મે ત્યારે તેને ખાઇ જવાની હતી.
Revelation 12:14
પરંતુ તે સ્ત્રીને મોટા ગરૂડની બે પાંખો આપવામાં આવી હતી જેથી તે તે સ્થળેથી ઊડીને અરણ્યમાં જઇ શકે જ્યાં તેના માટે જગા તૈયાર કરવામાં આવી હતી. તે સ્થળેથી તેની સંભાળ સાડા ત્રણ વર્ષ સુધી રાખવામાં આવે છે. અજગર તેની પાસે પહોંચી શકે નહિં.
Revelation 13:5
તે પ્રાણીને ઘમંડી શબ્દો અને ઘણી દુષ્ટ વસ્તુઓ કહેવાની પરવાનગી આપવામાં આવી હતી. તે પ્રાણીને તેની શક્તિનો 42 મહિના માટે ઉપયોગ કરવાની પરવાનગી આપવામા આવી હતી.

“તું ઊઠ, અને સિદોન નગરની પાસેના સારફત ગામમાં જઈને રહે, ત્યાં એક વિધવા સ્ત્રી રહે છે, તે તારું પોષણ કરશે, તે માંટે મેં તેને આજ્ઞા આપી છે.”

અને તેણે એક આખો દિવસ મુસાફરી કરી, ત્યાં તે એક ઝાડ નીચે બેઠો અને પ્રાર્થના કરી કે પોતે મરી જાય, તેણે કહ્યું “યહોવા દેવ, માંરા પ્રાણ લઇ લો, હું માંરા પિતૃઓથી જરાય સારો નથી”

પછી શેતાન ઈસુને છોડી ચાલ્યો ગયો, ત્યાર પછી કેટલાએક દૂતો આવી તેને મદદ કરવા લાગ્યા.
