Psalm 69 in Gujarati

1 હે દેવ, મારા માથા સુધી પાણી ચઢી આવ્યું છે, મારી રક્ષા કરો.

2 કીચડમાં હું ઊંડે ને ઊંડે ખૂપતો જાઉં છું, જ્યાં ઊભા રહેવાને પણ આધાર નથી, હું ઊઁડા જળમાં આવી પડ્યો છું, જળપ્રલયે મને ડૂબાડી દીધો છે.

3 હું રડી રડીને નિર્ગત થઇ ગયો છું અને મારું ગળું સુકાઇ ગયું છે. મારા દેવની વાટ જોતાં મારી આંખોનું તેજ ઘટી ગયું છે.

4 જેઓ વિનાકારણે મારો દ્વેષ કરે છે, તેઓ મારા માથાના વાળથી વધારે છે; હું નિદોર્ષ છું છતાં મારો સંહાર કરવાની યોજના ઘડનારાં વધુ શકિતશાળી બન્યાં છે. તે શત્રુઓ મારા વિષે અસત્ય બોલે છે. કહે છે મેં વસ્તુઓ ચોરી હતી. તેઓએ મેં જે વસ્તુઓ ચોરી ન હતી તેનું ભરણ કરવા મને ફરજ પાડે છે.

5 હે દેવ, તમે મારી મૂર્ખાઇ જાણો છો, અને મારા પાપો તમારાથી છુપાવેલા નથી.

6 હે સૈન્યના પ્રભુ યહોવા, મારા લીધે તમારા અનુયાયીઓ શરમીંદા ન થાય. હે ઇસ્રાએલનાં દેવ, ભલે જેઓ તમને શોધવા નીકળ્યા છે તેઓનું મારા લીધે અપમાન ન થાય.

7 મેં તમારા માટે શરમ સહન કરી છે, ને મારું મુખ પણ શરમથી ઢંકાયેલું છે.

8 મારા ભાઇઓને મન હું પારકા જેવો છું, અને મારી માના પુત્રને મન હું પરદેશી જેવો થયો છું.

9 કારણ, મારું હૃદય દેવ અને તેનાં મંદિર માટેના ઉત્સાહથી ઉત્તેજીત થયું છે. જેઓ તમારું અપમાન કરે છે તેમના અપમાનો મારી ઉપર આવ્યાં છે.

10 જ્યારે હું યહોવા સમક્ષ રૂદન અને ઉપવાસ કરું છું, ત્યારે તેઓ મારી મશ્કરી કરીને નિંદા કરે છે.

11 જ્યારે હું મારા પાપનું દુ:ખ પ્રગટ કરવા અને આત્માનું રાંકપણું દર્શાવવાં ટાટનાં વસ્ર ધારણ કરું છું, ત્યારે તેઓ મારી મશ્કરી કરે છે.

12 ભાગળમાં બેસનારાઓ મારી મશ્કરી કરે છે. અને છાકટાઓ મારા વિષે રાસડા ગાય છે.

13 પરંતુ હે યહોવા, તમારી કૃપાનાં સમયમાં મેં તમારી પ્રાર્થના કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું છે, તમારાં ભરપૂર પ્રેમમાં, તારણની સત્યતાએ પ્રત્યુતર આપો.

14 મને કીચડમાંથી કાઢો, મને ઊંડા પાણીમાં ડૂબવાં દેશો નહિ અને દ્વેષીઓથી મારી રક્ષા કરો.

15 રેલ સંકટ મારા પર ફરી ન વળે, સાગરનાં ઊંડાણ મને ગળી ન જાય; અને ડરાવનાર કબરમાં મારી રક્ષા કરો.

16 હે યહોવા, મારી પ્રાર્થનાનો ઉત્તર આપો; કારણ તારી કૃપ ઉત્તમ છે; તમારા પુષ્કળ વાત્સલ્ય મુજબ મારા તરફ વળો.

17 તમારું મુખ તમારા આ દાસથી છુપાવશો નહિ, હું અપાર સંકટોમાં છું, મને જલદી ઉત્તર આપો.

18 હે યહોવા, આવો, મારા આત્માની રક્ષા કરો! મને મારા સર્વ શત્રુઓથી મુકત કરો.

19 તમે જાણો છો કે મારે શરમ તથા અપમાન અને નિંદા સહન કરવાં પડે છે. મારા શત્રુઓએ મારી સાથે કરેલી વસ્તુઓ તમે જોઇ છે.

20 નિંદાએ મારું હૃદય ભાંગ્યું છે, અને હું લાંબુ જીવવા માટે ખૂબ દુર્બળ બની ગયો છું. દિલાસો અને આરામ બતાવનારની રાહ જોઇ પરંતુ મને કોઇ પણ મળ્યું નહિ.

21 ખોરાકને બદલે મને પિત્ત ખાવા મળ્યું, ને તરસ લાગતાં મને સરકો પાવામાં આવ્યો.

22 ભલે તેમનું મેજ તેમના માટે છટકું બને, અને તેમનું મૈત્રીભોજન તેમનો ફાંસલો બને.

23 ભલે તેઓની આંખો કઇપણ જોવા માટે ઝાંખી બને, અને ભલે તેઓ અંધ બની જાય. અને ભલે તેમની કમરો નબળી બને.

24 ભલે તમે તમારો કોપ તેઓ પર વરસાવો, તમારો ક્રોધાજ્ઞિ તેઓને પકડી પાડો.

25 તેમનાં ઘરો ઉજ્જડ થાઓ, ને તેમાં કદી કોઇ નિવાસ કરે નહિ.

26 કારણ, જેને તમે શિક્ષા કરી છે તેઓ તેની પૂઠ પકડે છે, અને જેને તમે ઘાયલ કર્યો છે તેનાં દુ:ખની વાત કરે છે.

27 તેઓને શિક્ષા કરો જેને તેઓ પાત્ર છે. તમે કેટલાં સારા છો તે તેમને ન બતાવો.

28 જીવન પુસ્તકમાંથી આ લોકોનાં નામ ભૂઁસી નાખો, સારા લોકોનાં નામોની યાદીના પુસ્તકમાં તેમનાં નામો સાથે ન મૂકો.

29 પણ હે દેવ હું તો નિ:સહાય અને ઉદાસ છું; હે દેવ, મારી રક્ષા કરો અને મને ઉપર ઊઠાઓ.

30 પછી હું ગીત ગાઇને દેવના નામનું સ્તવન કરીશ, અને આભાર માનીને તેમનાં નામની હું સ્તુતિ કરીશ.

31 અને તે બળદનાં અથવા વાછરડાંનાં બલિદાન કરતાં તેમને વધુ આનંદ આપશે.

32 નમ્ર જનો તે જોઇને આનંદ પામશે, દેવને શોધનારાઓ તમારા હૃદયો નવું જીવન પામો.

33 કારણ યહોવા દરિદ્રીઓની અરજ સાંભળે છે, અને તેમનાં જે લોકો બંદીવાન આપે છે તેઓનાથી તેઓ પોતાનું મુખ આડું ફેરવતાં નથી.

34 આકાશ તથા પૃથ્વી તેમનું સ્તવન કરો; સમુદ્રો તથાં તેમાનાં સર્વ જળચર તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

35 કારણ, દેવ સિયોનને તારશે અને યહૂદિયાનાં નગરોનું નવનિર્માણ કરશે; તેનાં લોકો તે નગરોમાં વસવાટ કરશે અને તે જન્મભૂમિનો કબજો મેળવશે.

36 વળી તેના સેવકોનાં સંતાન દેશનો વારસો પામશે, તેમનાં નામ પર પ્રીતિ રાખનારાઁ તેમાં વસશે.

2 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

3 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

4 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

5 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

6 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

7 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

8 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

9 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.

10 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

11 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

12 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

13 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

14 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

15 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

16 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

17 Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

18 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

19 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

20 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

21 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

22 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

23 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

24 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

25 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

26 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

27 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

28 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

29 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

30 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

31 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

32 This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

33 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

34 For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

35 Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

36 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

37 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
