Psalm 14 in Gujarati

1 મૂર્ખ, દુષ્ટ માણસ માને છે: “દેવ છે જ નહિ.” તે માણસ ષ્ટ અને અનૈતિક છે. તેવા માણસો દુષ્ટ, તિરસ્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો કરે છે. તેઓમાં કોઇ સત્કર્મ કરનાર નથી.

2 યહોવા સ્વર્ગમાંથી બધાંને જુએ છે એ જાણવા માટે, કે કોઇ ડાહ્યાં લોકો છે કે જેમને દેવની મદદની જરૂર છે.

3 પણ ના! ત્યાં કોઇ નથી. બધાએ સાચો રસ્તો છોડી દીધો છે અને યહોવાથી દૂર થઇ ગયા છે.

4 તેઓ રોટલીની જેમ મારા લોકોને ખાય છે, અને તે દુષ્કમોર્ કરનારાઓ દેવને નથી જાણતા. તેઓ નથી યહોવાને પ્રાર્થના કરતા કે નથી તેની ઉપાસના કરતાં.

5 જુઓ! તેઓ ભયભીત થઇ ગયા છે, કારણ યહોવા, ન્યાયીઓની સાથે છે.

6 દુષ્ટ લોકો ગરીબ લોકોની શિખામણની મજાક ઉડાવે છે. પણ ગરીબોને તો યહોવાનું રક્ષણ અને આશ્રય છે.

7 ભલે ઇસ્રાએલનું તારણ સિયોન પર્વત પર આવે. જ્યારે યહોવા ઇસ્રાએલીઓને તેમની સ્વતંત્રતા પાછી લાવી આપશે ત્યારે યાકૂબ પ્રસન્ન થશે અને ઇસ્રાએલ સુખી થશે.

2 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

3 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

4 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

5 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

6 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

7 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

8 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
