Psalm 132
1 હે યહોવા, જે સર્વ કષ્ટો દાઉદે સહન કર્યા હતાં તેને યાદ કરો.
2 યાકૂબના સમર્થ દેવ સમક્ષ તેણે પ્રતિજ્ઞા લીધી હતી; હા યહોવા સમક્ષ તેણે શપથ લીધા હતાં.
3 “જ્યાં સુધી હું યહોવાને માટે મકાન ન મેળવું; અને યાકૂબના સમર્થ દેવ માટે નિવાસસ્થાન તૈયાર ન કરું;
4 ત્યાં સુધી હું મારા ઘરમાં જઇશ નહિ; ત્યાં સુધી મારા પલંગ પર ઊંઘીશ નહિ.
5 વળી મારી આંખોને ઊંઘ અને મારા પોપચાને નિદ્રા આવવા દઇશ નહિ.”
6 દેવ, અમે તેના વિષે એફાથાહમાં સાંભળ્યું, અમને તે કરારકોશ કિર્યાથ યેરામ ના જંગલના ખેતરોમાં મળ્યો.
7 પણ હવે ચાલો આપણે મંદિરમા, દેવના કાયમી ઘરમાં જઇએ; ચાલો આપણે દેવના પાયાસનની આગળ તેને ભજીએ.
8 હે યહોવા, ઊઠો અને, તમે તમારા શકિતશાળી કોશની સાથે તમારા વિશ્રામસ્થાનમાં આવો.
9 તમારા યાજકો ન્યાયીપણાથી આશીર્વાદિત થાઓ; અને તારા ભકતો હર્ષનાદ કરો.
10 તમારા સેવક દાઉદને માટે દેવ, તમે જે એકને પસંદ કરીને અભિષિકત કર્યો છે તેનો અસ્વીકાર ન કરો.
11 “હું તારી ગાદી પર તારા વંશજોને મૂકીશ” તેથી તે તેનું વચન તોડશે નહિ.
12 જો તારા પુત્રો મારો કરાર, અને જે નિયમો હું તેમને શીખવું તે પાળે; તો તેઓના સંતાનો પણ તારી ગાદીએ સદાકાળ બેસશે.
13 હે યહોવા, તમે સિયોનને તમારા નિવાસસ્થાન તરીકે પસંદ કર્યુ છે.
14 તમે કહ્યું છે, “મારા સદાકાળના વિશ્રામનું આ સ્થળ છે. હું અહીં બિરાજમાન થઇશ.” મેં તેમ કરવા ચાહ્યું હતું.
15 હું આ સિયોનને સમૃદ્ધ બનાવી અને અનાજથી ભરી દઇશ. અને હું સિયોનમાં ગરીબ લોકોને ભરપૂર અનાજથી સંતોષીશ.
16 હું તેના યાજકોને તારણનો ઝભ્ભો પહેરાવીશ; મારા પરમ ભકતો આનંદથી ગાશે.
17 દાઉદની શકિત આ જગાએ, મજબૂત બનશે. “મારા અભિષિકત માટે મેં દીવો તૈયાર કર્યો છે.”
18 તેના શત્રુઓને હું શરમથી ઢાંકી દઇશ; પણ તે પોતે એક ગૌરવી રાજા બનશે.

2 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
3 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
4 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
5 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
6 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
7 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
8 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
9 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
10 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
11 For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
12 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
13 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
14 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
15 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
16 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
17 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
18 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
19 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 તમારા સેવક દાઉદને માટે દેવ, તમે જે એકને પસંદ કરીને અભિષિકત કર્યો છે તેનો અસ્વીકાર ન કરો.
For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 “હું તારી ગાદી પર તારા વંશજોને મૂકીશ” તેથી તે તેનું વચન તોડશે નહિ.
The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 જો તારા પુત્રો મારો કરાર, અને જે નિયમો હું તેમને શીખવું તે પાળે; તો તેઓના સંતાનો પણ તારી ગાદીએ સદાકાળ બેસશે.
If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 હે યહોવા, તમે સિયોનને તમારા નિવાસસ્થાન તરીકે પસંદ કર્યુ છે.
For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 તમે કહ્યું છે, “મારા સદાકાળના વિશ્રામનું આ સ્થળ છે. હું અહીં બિરાજમાન થઇશ.” મેં તેમ કરવા ચાહ્યું હતું.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 હું આ સિયોનને સમૃદ્ધ બનાવી અને અનાજથી ભરી દઇશ. અને હું સિયોનમાં ગરીબ લોકોને ભરપૂર અનાજથી સંતોષીશ.
I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 હું તેના યાજકોને તારણનો ઝભ્ભો પહેરાવીશ; મારા પરમ ભકતો આનંદથી ગાશે.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 દાઉદની શકિત આ જગાએ, મજબૂત બનશે. “મારા અભિષિકત માટે મેં દીવો તૈયાર કર્યો છે.”
There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 તેના શત્રુઓને હું શરમથી ઢાંકી દઇશ; પણ તે પોતે એક ગૌરવી રાજા બનશે.
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
