મેં તમને જે દેશમાં વસાવવાનું વચન આપ્યું હતું તેમાં વીસ વર્ષના અને તેની ઉપરના તમાંરામાંના કોઈ પ્રવેશવા પામશે નહિ. ફકત યફૂન્નેહનો પુત્ર કાલેબ અને નૂનનો પુત્ર યહોશુઆ તેમાં પ્રવેશ કરશે.

જેઓ દેશમાં તપાસ કરવા ગયા હતા, તે જાસૂસોમાંથી ફકત નૂનનો દીકરો યહોશુઆ અને યફૂન્નેહનો દીકરો કાલેબ જ જીવતા રહ્યા.
