Numbers 28:15
પ્રત્યેક માંસના પ્રથમ દિવસે એક બકરો પાપાર્થાર્પણ તરીકે તમાંરે યહોવાને ચઢાવવો. અને દૈનિક દહનાર્પણ અને તે સાથેના પેયાર્પણ ઉપરાંતનુ આ અર્પણ છે.

તમાંરે નિયત સમયે મને આગમાં બનાવેલું ખાદ્યાર્પણ ધરવું, તેની સુગંધ મને પ્રસન્ન કરે છે.” તેથી તમાંરે નીચે મુજબ અર્પણ ચઢાવવું. પ્રતિદિન તમાંરે એક વર્ષના ખોડખાંપણ વગરના બે નર હલવાનોનું દહનાર્પણ કરવું જ.

Numbers 28:22
અને તમાંરા પોતાના માંટે પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરવા પાપાર્થાર્પણ તરીકે તમાંરે એક બકરાનું અર્પણ કરવું.
Leviticus 4:23
ત્યારે એની જાણમાં આવતાં જ તેણે ખોડખાંપણ વગરનો નર બકરો લાવી, જ્યાં આહુતિ ચઢાવવામાં આવે છે,
Leviticus 16:15
“ત્યાર પછી તેણે લોકોના પાપાર્થાર્પણના બકરાનું બલિદાન કરવું અને તેનું લોહી પડદાની અંદરની બાજુ લાવવું અને વાછરડાના લોહીની જેમ મંજૂષાના ઢાંકણ ઉપર અને તેની સામે છાંટવું.

પ્રત્યેક વિશ્રામવારે આ અર્પણ નિયમિત દહનાર્પણ અને પેયાર્પણ ઉપરાંત લાવવાનું છે.”
Romans 8:3
આપણી પાપમય જાતે નિયમને બિનઅસરકારક બનાવ્યો. જે નિયમ ન કરી શકે તે દેવે કર્યું. બીજા લોકો માનવજીવનનો ઉપયોગ પાપકર્મમાં કરે છે. પણ દેવે તેના દીકરાને માનવજીવનના રૂપમાં પૃથ્વી પર પાપ માટે પોતાને મતને બલિદાન અર્પણ કરવા મોકલ્યો. આમ પાપનો નાશ કરવા દેવે માનવજીવનનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો.
2 Corinthians 5:21
ખ્રિસ્ત નિષ્પાપી હતો, માટે જેણે પાપ જાણ્યું નહોતું તેને તેણે આપણે માટે પાપરૂપ કર્યો. દેવે આમ અમારાં માટે કર્યુ કે જેથી અમે ખ્રિસ્તમાં દેવ સાથે સત્યનિષ્ઠ બની શકીએ.
