Numbers 22:34
પછી બલામે યહોવાના દૂતને કહ્યું, “મેં પાપ કર્યુ છે. માંરી ભૂલ થઈ ગઈ છે, મને ખબર નહોતી કે, તમે માંરા માંર્ગમાં આડા ઊભા છો, તમાંરી ઈચ્છા હું ત્યાં ન જાઉં તેવી હોય તો હું પાછો ઘેર જઈશ.”

| thou | אַתָּ֛ה | ʾattâ | ah-TA |
| stoodest | נִצָּ֥ב | niṣṣāb | nee-TSAHV |
| in the way | לִקְרָאתִ֖י | liqrāʾtî | leek-ra-TEE |
| against | בַּדָּ֑רֶךְ | baddārek | ba-DA-rek |
| me: now | וְעַתָּ֛ה | wĕʿattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| therefore, if | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| displease it | רַ֥ע | raʿ | ra |
| thee, | בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ | bĕʿênêkā | beh-ay-NAY-ha |
