ઝાક્કાયનો પુત્ર બારૂખે એના પછીના ભાગનું મરામત કર્યુ જે દરવાજાના, ખૂણાથી લઇને મુખ્ય યાજક એલ્યાશીબના ઘરના બારણાં સુધી જતો હતો.

તેના પછીના એલ્યાશીબના ઘરના બીજા છેડા સુધીના ભાગની મરામત હાક્કોસના પુત્ર ઊરિયાના પુત્ર મરેમોથે કરી.

લેવીઓ માટે એલ્યાશીબ, યોયાદા, યોહાનાન અને યાદૂઆના સમયમાં કુટુંબોના આગેવાનોની સંપૂર્ણ યાદી તૈયાર થઇ હતી, એવી એક યાદી યાજકોને માટે ઇરાનના રાજા દાર્યાવેશના શાસન દરમ્યાન પણ તૈયાર કરી હતી.

પરંતુ આ અગાઉ યાજક એલ્યાશીબ જોડે એક ઘટના બની, જેને દેવના મંદિરની ઓરડીનો કારભારી નીમ્યો હતો, તે ટોબિયાના સગાંમાંથી એક હતો.

હવે યોયાદાના પુત્રોમાંથી એકા, યોયાદા મુખ્ય યાજક એલ્યાશીબનો પુત્ર હોરોની સાન્બાલ્લાટનો જમાઇ હતો. તેથી મેં તેને મારી આગળથી હાંકી કાઢયો.
