કારણ કે પ્રાચીનકાળમાં દાઉદના અને આસાફના સમયમાં ગાયકોનો એક આગેવાન થતો હતો. વળી દેવના સ્તવનનાઁ તથા આભારસ્તુતિના ગીતો પણ હતાઁ.
