દાર્યાવેશ રાજાના બીજા વર્ષના છઠ્ઠા મહિનાની પહેલી તારીખે પ્રબોધક હાગ્ગાય મારફત યહોવાનો સંદેશો આવ્યો. આ સંદેશો યહૂદાના સૂબા શઆલ્તીએલના પુત્ર, ઝરુબ્બાબેલની, તથા પ્રમુખ યાજક યહોસાદાકના પુત્ર યહોશુઆ માટે હતો.

તેથી, રાજાએ મને સવાલ કર્યો, “તું આવો ઉદાસ શા માટે દેખાય છે? તું માંદો તો લાગતો નથી, એટલે જરૂર તારા મનમાં કોઇ ભારે ખેદ હોવો જોઇએ.”આ સાંભળી હું બહુ ગભરાઇ ગયો.
એઝરા 5:2
ત્યારે શઆલ્તીએલના પુત્ર ઝરુબ્બાબેલ તથા યોસાદાકના પુત્ર યેશૂઆએ યરૂશાલેમમાં યહોવાનું મંદિર બાંધવાનું શરૂ કરી દીધું. દેવના પ્રબોધકો તેમને ટેકો આપતાં હતાં.
એઝરા 3:8
બીજા વર્ષના બીજા મહિનામાં યરૂશાલેમમાં દેવના મંદિરમાં પહોચ્યા પછી, શઆલ્તીએલનો પુત્ર ઝરુબ્બાબેલે અને યોસાદાકનો પુત્ર યેશૂઆએ તેમના બીજા જાતભાઇઓની મદદ વડે, યાજકો લેવીઓ અને દેશવટેથી યરૂશાલેમ પાછા ફરેલા બાકીના બધા લોકોની મદદથી મંદિરનું ખરેખરું બાંધકામ શરૂ કર્યુ. તેમણે વીસ વર્ષના અને તેથી મોટા લેવીઓને યહોવાના મંદિરનાં બાંધકામની દેખરેખ રાખવા નીમ્યા.
