તેથી તે શિષ્યો બહાર નીકળ્યા. તેઓ બધા ગામડાઓમાંથી પસાર થયા. તેઓ સુવાર્તા પ્રગટ કરતાં અને સર્વત્ર લોકોને સાજા કરતાં ગયા.

તેથી લોકો તેઓના માંદાઓને શેરીઓમાં લાવવા લાગ્યાં. લોકોએ સાંભળ્યું કે પિતર બાજુમાં આવી રહ્યો છે.તેથી લોકોએ તેઓના માંદા માણસોને પથારીઓમાં તથા ખાટલાઓમાં સુવાડ્યા. તેઓએ વિચાર્યુ કે જો માંદા લોકો નજીકમાં હોય તો પિતરના પડછાયાનો તેઓને સ્પર્શ થાય તો, તેઓને સાજા થવા માટે પૂરતું છે.
