Jeremiah 51:3
ભલે તેમના ધર્નુધારી માણસો પોતાના હથિયાર વાપરવા માટે તૈયાર ન હોય. તેમના સૈનિકોને બખતર પહેરવા દેશો નહિ. તેઓના સૈનિકો પર દયા ન બતાવશો, તેમના સૈન્યનો નાશ કરો.

બાબિલની સામે બાણાવળીઓનો જમાવ કરો, ધનુષ્યબાણ ચલાવનારા સૌ કોઇ નગરને ચારે તરફથી ઘેરી લો. જેથી કોઇ ભાગી જવા પામે નહિ, તેના કૃત્યોનો તેને બદલો આપો, એણે બીજાની જે દશા કરી છે તે એની કરો. કારણ કે, એ મારા પ્રત્યે ઇસ્રાએલના પરમપવિત્ર યહોવા પ્રત્યે તોછડાઇથી વત્ર્યો છે.
ચર્મિયા 50:27
તેના સર્વ ઢોરઢાંખરને પણ મારી નાખો, તેઓની હત્યા થવા માટે નીચે ઊતરી જવા દો! એમના દિવસો ભરાઇ ચૂક્યા છે! તેમની સજાનો દિવસ આવી પહોંચ્યો છે.
