Ezekiel 22:30
“મેં તેમનામાં એવો માણસ શોધવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો જે દિવાલ બાંધી શકે, જે દિવાલમાં પડેલાં ગાબડા પાસે ઊભો રહી મારાથી દેશનું રક્ષણ કરે - જે તેનો નાશ કરવા માટે તૈયાર હોય, પણ હું એવા કોઇને પણ શોધી ન શક્યો.

યહોવાએ આ જોયું છે અને તે ન્યાયના અભાવથી અપ્રસન્ન થયા છે. દીનદલિતોની સાથે થવા કોઇ તૈયાર નથી, એ જોઇને તે નવાઇ પામ્યા છે. આથી તે પોતાના જ બાહુબળથી અને ન્યાયીપણાથી વિજય પ્રાપ્ત કરશે.

યહોવાએ તેમનો વિનાશ કરવો હતો પણ મૂસા, દેવનો પસંદ કરેલો, દેવના વિનાશી કોપને શાંત પાડવા તેમની સામે ઊભો રહ્યો. અને મૂસાએ તેમને રોક્યા, જેથી તેમણે લોકોનો વિનાશ ન કર્યો.
