וַיִּשְׁמַ֞ע Jethro, va-yeesh-MA יִתְר֨וֹ the yeet-ROH כֹהֵ֤ן priest hoh-HANE מִדְיָן֙ of meed-YAHN חֹתֵ֣ן Midian, hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses' moh-SHEH אֵת֩ father ate כָּל in kahl אֲשֶׁ֨ר law, uh-SHER עָשָׂ֤ה heard ah-SA אֱלֹהִים֙ ay-loh-HEEM לְמֹשֶׁ֔ה of leh-moh-SHEH וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל all oo-leh-yees-ra-ALE עַמּ֑וֹ that AH-moh כִּֽי God kee הוֹצִ֧יא had hoh-TSEE יְהוָ֛ה done yeh-VA אֶת for et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Moses, yees-ra-ALE מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ and mee-meets-RA-yeem -
וַיִּקַּ֗ח Jethro, va-yee-KAHK יִתְרוֹ֙ Moses' yeet-ROH חֹתֵ֣ן father hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֔ה in moh-SHEH אֶת law, et צִפֹּרָ֖ה took tsee-poh-RA אֵ֣שֶׁת A-shet מֹשֶׁ֑ה Zipporah, moh-SHEH אַחַ֖ר Moses' ah-HAHR שִׁלּוּחֶֽיהָ׃ wife, shee-loo-HAY-ha -
וְאֵ֖ת her veh-ATE שְׁנֵ֣י two sheh-NAY בָנֶ֑יהָ sons; va-NAY-ha אֲשֶׁ֨ר of uh-SHER שֵׁ֤ם which shame הָֽאֶחָד֙ the ha-eh-HAHD גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֔ם name ɡay-reh-SHOME כִּ֣י of kee אָמַ֔ר the ah-MAHR גֵּ֣ר one ɡare הָיִ֔יתִי was ha-YEE-tee בְּאֶ֖רֶץ Gershom; beh-EH-rets נָכְרִיָּֽה׃ for noke-ree-YA -
וְשֵׁ֥ם the veh-SHAME הָֽאֶחָ֖ד name ha-eh-HAHD אֱלִיעֶ֑זֶר of ay-lee-EH-zer כִּֽי the kee אֱלֹהֵ֤י other ay-loh-HAY אָבִי֙ was ah-VEE בְּעֶזְרִ֔י Eliezer; beh-ez-REE וַיַּצִּלֵ֖נִי for va-ya-tsee-LAY-nee מֵחֶ֥רֶב the may-HEH-rev פַּרְעֹֽה׃ God pahr-OH -
וַיָּבֹ֞א Jethro, va-ya-VOH יִתְר֨וֹ Moses' yeet-ROH חֹתֵ֥ן father hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֛ה in moh-SHEH וּבָנָ֥יו law, oo-va-NAV וְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹ came veh-eesh-TOH אֶל with el מֹשֶׁ֑ה his moh-SHEH אֶל sons el הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר and ha-meed-BAHR אֲשֶׁר his uh-SHER ה֛וּא wife hoo חֹנֶ֥ה unto hoh-NEH שָׁ֖ם Moses shahm הַ֥ר into hahr הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ the HA-ay-loh-HEEM -
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ he va-YOH-MER אֶל said el מֹשֶׁ֔ה unto moh-SHEH אֲנִ֛י Moses, uh-NEE חֹֽתֶנְךָ֥ I hoh-ten-HA יִתְר֖וֹ thy yeet-ROH בָּ֣א father ba אֵלֶ֑יךָ in ay-LAY-ha וְאִ֨שְׁתְּךָ֔ law veh-EESH-teh-HA וּשְׁנֵ֥י Jethro oo-sheh-NAY בָנֶ֖יהָ am va-NAY-ha עִמָּֽהּ׃ come ee-MA -
וַיֵּצֵ֨א Moses va-yay-TSAY מֹשֶׁ֜ה went moh-SHEH לִקְרַ֣את out leek-RAHT חֹֽתְנ֗וֹ to hoh-teh-NOH וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ meet va-yeesh-TA-HOO וַיִּשַּׁק his va-yee-SHAHK ל֔וֹ father loh וַיִּשְׁאֲל֥וּ in va-yeesh-uh-LOO אִישׁ law, eesh לְרֵעֵ֖הוּ and leh-ray-A-hoo לְשָׁל֑וֹם did leh-sha-LOME וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ obeisance, va-ya-VOH-oo הָאֹֽהֱלָה׃ and ha-OH-hay-la -
וַיְסַפֵּ֤ר Moses vai-sa-PARE מֹשֶׁה֙ told moh-SHEH לְחֹ֣תְנ֔וֹ his leh-HOH-teh-NOH אֵת֩ father ate כָּל in kahl אֲשֶׁ֨ר law uh-SHER עָשָׂ֤ה ah-SA יְהוָה֙ all yeh-VA לְפַרְעֹ֣ה that leh-fahr-OH וּלְמִצְרַ֔יִם the oo-leh-meets-RA-yeem עַ֖ל Lord al אוֹדֹ֣ת had oh-DOTE יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל done yees-ra-ALE אֵ֤ת unto ate כָּל Pharaoh kahl הַתְּלָאָה֙ and ha-teh-la-AH אֲשֶׁ֣ר to uh-SHER מְצָאָ֣תַם the meh-tsa-AH-tahm בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ Egyptians ba-DEH-rek וַיַּצִּלֵ֖ם for va-ya-tsee-LAME יְהוָֽה׃ Israel's yeh-VA -
וַיִּ֣חַדְּ Jethro va-YEE-hahd יִתְר֔וֹ rejoiced yeet-ROH עַ֚ל for al כָּל all kahl הַטּוֹבָ֔ה the ha-toh-VA אֲשֶׁר goodness uh-SHER עָשָׂ֥ה which ah-SA יְהוָ֖ה the yeh-VA לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Lord leh-yees-ra-ALE אֲשֶׁ֥ר had uh-SHER הִצִּיל֖וֹ done hee-tsee-LOH מִיַּ֥ד to mee-YAHD מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Israel, meets-RA-yeem -
וַיֹּאמֶר֮ Jethro va-yoh-MER יִתְרוֹ֒ said, yeet-ROH בָּר֣וּךְ Blessed ba-ROOK יְהוָ֔ה be yeh-VA אֲשֶׁ֨ר the uh-SHER הִצִּ֥יל Lord, hee-TSEEL אֶתְכֶ֛ם who et-HEM מִיַּ֥ד hath mee-YAHD מִצְרַ֖יִם delivered meets-RA-yeem וּמִיַּ֣ד you oo-mee-YAHD פַּרְעֹ֑ה out pahr-OH אֲשֶׁ֤ר of uh-SHER הִצִּיל֙ the hee-TSEEL אֶת hand et הָעָ֔ם of ha-AM מִתַּ֖חַת the mee-TA-haht יַד Egyptians, yahd מִצְרָֽיִם׃ and meets-RA-yeem -
עַתָּ֣ה I ah-TA יָדַ֔עְתִּי know ya-DA-tee כִּֽי that kee גָד֥וֹל the ɡa-DOLE יְהוָ֖ה Lord yeh-VA מִכָּל is mee-KAHL הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים greater ha-ay-loh-HEEM כִּ֣י than kee בַדָּבָ֔ר all va-da-VAHR אֲשֶׁ֥ר gods: uh-SHER זָד֖וּ for za-DOO עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ in uh-lay-HEM -
וַיִּקַּ֞ח Jethro, va-yee-KAHK יִתְר֨וֹ Moses' yeet-ROH חֹתֵ֥ן father hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֛ה in moh-SHEH עֹלָ֥ה law, oh-LA וּזְבָחִ֖ים took oo-zeh-va-HEEM לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים a lay-loh-HEEM וַיָּבֹ֨א burnt va-ya-VOH אַֽהֲרֹ֜ן offering ah-huh-RONE וְכֹ֣ל׀ and veh-HOLE זִקְנֵ֣י sacrifices zeek-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל for yees-ra-ALE לֶֽאֱכָל God: LEH-ay-hole לֶ֛חֶם and LEH-hem עִם Aaron eem חֹתֵ֥ן came, hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֖ה and moh-SHEH לִפְנֵ֥י all leef-NAY הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ the HA-ay-loh-HEEM -
וַֽיְהִי֙ it va-HEE מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת came mee-ma-hoh-RAHT וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב to va-YAY-shev מֹשֶׁ֖ה pass moh-SHEH לִשְׁפֹּ֣ט on leesh-POTE אֶת the et הָעָ֑ם morrow, ha-AM וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֤ד that va-ya-uh-MODE הָעָם֙ Moses ha-AM עַל sat al מֹשֶׁ֔ה to moh-SHEH מִן judge meen הַבֹּ֖קֶר ha-BOH-ker עַד the ad הָעָֽרֶב׃ people: ha-AH-rev -
וַיַּרְא֙ when va-yahr חֹתֵ֣ן Moses' hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֔ה father moh-SHEH אֵ֛ת in ate כָּל law kahl אֲשֶׁר saw uh-SHER ה֥וּא hoo עֹשֶׂ֖ה all oh-SEH לָעָ֑ם that la-AM וַיֹּ֗אמֶר he va-YOH-mer מָֽה did ma הַדָּבָ֤ר to ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּה֙ the ha-ZEH אֲשֶׁ֨ר people, uh-SHER אַתָּ֤ה he ah-TA עֹשֶׂה֙ said, oh-SEH לָעָ֔ם What la-AM מַדּ֗וּעַ is MA-doo-ah אַתָּ֤ה this ah-TA יוֹשֵׁב֙ thing yoh-SHAVE לְבַדֶּ֔ךָ that leh-va-DEH-ha וְכָל thou veh-HAHL הָעָ֛ם doest ha-AM נִצָּ֥ב to nee-TSAHV עָלֶ֖יךָ the ah-LAY-ha מִן people? meen בֹּ֥קֶר why BOH-ker עַד sittest ad עָֽרֶב׃ thou AH-rev -
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר Moses va-YOH-mer מֹשֶׁ֖ה said moh-SHEH לְחֹֽתְנ֑וֹ unto leh-hoh-teh-NOH כִּֽי his kee יָבֹ֥א father ya-VOH אֵלַ֛י in ay-LAI הָעָ֖ם law, ha-AM לִדְרֹ֥שׁ Because leed-ROHSH אֱלֹהִֽים׃ the ay-loh-HEEM -
כִּֽי they kee יִהְיֶ֨ה have yee-YEH לָהֶ֤ם a la-HEM דָּבָר֙ matter, da-VAHR בָּ֣א they ba אֵלַ֔י come ay-LAI וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י unto veh-SHA-faht-TEE בֵּ֥ין me; bane אִ֖ישׁ and eesh וּבֵ֣ין I oo-VANE רֵעֵ֑הוּ judge ray-A-hoo וְהֽוֹדַעְתִּ֛י between veh-hoh-da-TEE אֶת one et חֻקֵּ֥י and hoo-KAY הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים another, ha-ay-loh-HEEM וְאֶת and veh-ET תּֽוֹרֹתָֽיו׃ I TOH-roh-TAIV -
וַיֹּ֛אמֶר Moses' va-YOH-mer חֹתֵ֥ן father hoh-TANE מֹשֶׁ֖ה in moh-SHEH אֵלָ֑יו law ay-LAV לֹא said loh טוֹב֙ unto tove הַדָּבָ֔ר him, ha-da-VAHR אֲשֶׁ֥ר The uh-SHER אַתָּ֖ה thing ah-TA עֹשֶֽׂה׃ that oh-SEH -

וְהִזְהַרְתָּ֣ה thou veh-heez-hahr-TA אֶתְהֶ֔ם shalt et-HEM אֶת teach et הַֽחֻקִּ֖ים them ha-hoo-KEEM וְאֶת ordinances veh-ET הַתּוֹרֹ֑ת and ha-toh-ROTE וְהֽוֹדַעְתָּ֣ laws, veh-hoh-da-TA לָהֶ֗ם and la-HEM אֶת shalt et הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ shew ha-DEH-rek יֵ֣לְכוּ them YAY-leh-hoo בָ֔הּ the va וְאֶת way veh-ET הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה wherein ha-ma-uh-SEH אֲשֶׁ֥ר they uh-SHER יַֽעֲשֽׂוּן׃ must YA-uh-SOON -

וְשָֽׁפְט֣וּ let veh-sha-feh-TOO אֶת them et הָעָם֮ judge ha-AM בְּכָל beh-HAHL עֵת֒ the ate וְהָיָ֞ה people veh-ha-YA כָּל at kahl הַדָּבָ֤ר all ha-da-VAHR הַגָּדֹל֙ seasons: ha-ɡa-DOLE יָבִ֣יאוּ and ya-VEE-oo אֵלֶ֔יךָ it ay-LAY-ha וְכָל shall veh-HAHL הַדָּבָ֥ר be, ha-da-VAHR הַקָּטֹ֖ן that ha-ka-TONE יִשְׁפְּטוּ every yeesh-peh-TOO הֵ֑ם great hame וְהָקֵל֙ matter veh-ha-KALE מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ they may-ah-LAY-ha וְנָֽשְׂא֖וּ shall veh-na-seh-OO אִתָּֽךְ׃ bring ee-TAHK -

וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע Moses va-yeesh-MA מֹשֶׁ֖ה hearkened moh-SHEH לְק֣וֹל to leh-KOLE חֹֽתְנ֑וֹ the hoh-teh-NOH וַיַּ֕עַשׂ voice va-YA-as כֹּ֖ל of kole אֲשֶׁ֥ר his uh-SHER אָמָֽר׃ father ah-MAHR -
וַיִּבְחַ֨ר Moses va-yeev-HAHR מֹשֶׁ֤ה chose moh-SHEH אַנְשֵׁי able an-SHAY חַ֙יִל֙ men HA-YEEL מִכָּל out mee-KAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE וַיִּתֵּ֥ן all va-yee-TANE אֹתָ֛ם Israel, oh-TAHM רָאשִׁ֖ים and ra-SHEEM עַל made al הָעָ֑ם them ha-AM שָׂרֵ֤י heads sa-RAY אֲלָפִים֙ over uh-la-FEEM שָׂרֵ֣י the sa-RAY מֵא֔וֹת people, may-OTE שָׂרֵ֥י rulers sa-RAY חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים of huh-mee-SHEEM וְשָׂרֵ֥י thousands, veh-sa-RAY עֲשָׂרֹֽת׃ rulers uh-sa-ROTE -
וְשָֽׁפְט֥וּ they veh-sha-feh-TOO אֶת judged et הָעָ֖ם ha-AM בְּכָל the beh-HAHL עֵ֑ת people ate אֶת at et הַדָּבָ֤ר all ha-da-VAHR הַקָּשֶׁה֙ seasons: ha-ka-SHEH יְבִיא֣וּן the yeh-vee-OON אֶל hard el מֹשֶׁ֔ה moh-SHEH וְכָל causes veh-HAHL הַדָּבָ֥ר they ha-da-VAHR הַקָּטֹ֖ן brought ha-ka-TONE יִשְׁפּוּט֥וּ unto yeesh-poo-TOO הֵֽם׃ Moses, hame -
