Amos 9:7
આ યહોવાના વચન છે, “હે ઇસ્રાએલના લોકો, શું તમે મારે મન ‘કૂશના’ લોકો જેવા નથી? હું જેમ તમને ઇસ્રાએલીઓને મિસરમાંથી લાવ્યો હતો, તેમ પલિસ્તીઓને કાફતોરથી અને અરામીઓને કીરમાંથી લાવ્યો નહોતો?”

છેક ગાઝા સુધીના ગામોમાં રહેતા આવ્વીઓનું પણ એમ જ થયું હતું. કાફતોરથી આવેલા કાફતોરીઓએ તેઓનું નિકંદન કાઢીને તેઓની જગ્યાએ વસવા માંડ્યું.

“વળી હું તમને મિસરમાંથી સાથે બહાર લઇ આવ્યો, અને મેં તમને વન્યપ્રદેશ થકી ચાળીસ વર્ષ સુધી માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું જેથી તમે અમોરીઓના રાષ્ટને તાબામાં લઇ શકો.

પછી યહોવાએ એક પ્રબોધક દ્વારા ઇસ્રાએલી લોકોનો મિસરમાંથી છુટકારો કર્યો. તેઓને એક પ્રબોધક મારફતે રક્ષણ આપ્યું.

યશાયા 20:4
તે જ રીતે આશ્શૂરનો રાજા મિસરના અને કૂશના કેદીઓને, જુવાનોને, તેમજ વૃદ્ધોને નવસ્રા અને ઉઘાડા પગે, નગ્નાવસ્થામાં હાંકીને લઇ જશે, જેનાથી મિસરને શરમાવું પડશે.
