Isaiah 44:17
બાકીના ભાગમાંથી તે કોઇ દેવની મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે, તેને પગે લાગીને તેની પૂજા કરે છે, તે તેની પ્રાર્થના કરે છે અને કહે છે, “મારો ઉદ્ધાર કરો, કારણ તમે મારા દેવ છો!”

હમાથ અને આર્પાદની મેં કેવી દશા કરી હતી તે શું તમને યાદ નથી? શું તેઓના દેવો તેઓને બચાવી શક્યા? અને સફાર્વાઇમ તથા સમરૂનનું શું થયું? તેઓના દેવો હાલ ક્યાં છે?

એક દિવસ તે પોતાના દેવ નિસ્રોખના મંદિરમાં પૂજા કરતો હતો, એવામાં તેના પુત્રો આદ્રામ્મેલેખે અને શારએસેરે તેને તરવારથી મારી નાખી અરારાટ ભાગી ગયા. તેનો પુત્ર એસાર-હાદ્દોન તેના પછી ગાદીએ આવ્યો.
દારિયેલ 3:17
જે દેવની અમે સેવા કરીએ છીએ તે અમને બળતા અગ્નિની ભઠ્ઠીમાંથી અને આપના હાથમાંથી ઉગારવાને શકિતમાન છે. તે અમને બચાવવા માટે શકિતમાન છે.
દારિયેલ 3:29
તેથી હું એવી આજ્ઞા કરું છું, કે, કોઇપણ પ્રજાનો કે, કોઇપણ ભાષા બોલનારો કોઇપણ માણસ મારા કાયદા નિયમનું ઉલ્લંધન કરનારને અને શાદ્રાખ, મેશાખ અને અબેદનગોના દેવની નિંદા કરનારના ટુકડે ટુકડા કરી દેવામાં આવશે. અને તેનું ઘર તોડીને ઢગલો કરી નાખવામાં આવશે, કારણ, માણસોને આ રીતે ઉગારી શકે એવો બીજો કોઇ દેવ નથી.”

છેવટે રાજાએ દાનિયેલની ધરપકડ માટે આદેશ આપ્યો અને તેને સિંહોની ગુફામાં નાખવા લઇ જવામાં આવ્યો. તેણે દાનિયેલને કહ્યું, “જે દેવની તું સતત સેવા ઉપાસના કરે છે તે તને બચાવો.”
દારિયેલ 6:20
ગુફા આગળ તે પહોંચ્યો ત્યારે વેદનાભર્યા અવાજે તેણે દાનિયેલને હાંક મારીને કહ્યું, “હે દાનિયેલ, હે જીવંત દેવના સેવક! જેની તું સતત સેવા કરે છે, તે તારો દેવ તને સિંહોથી બચાવી શક્યો?”
દારિયેલ 6:27
તે બચાવે છે અને છોડાવે છે. આકાશમાં અને પૃથ્વી પર ચમત્કારિક નિશાનીઓ અને ચમત્કારો કરે છે. તે એક જ છે જેણે દાનિયેલને સિંહોના પંજામાંથી ઉગાર્યો છે.”
