પરંતુ ઈસુના આ સમાચાર તો વધુ ને વધુ પ્રસરવા લાગ્યા. ઘણા લોકોના ટોળેટોળા ઈસુને સાંભળવા તથા પોતાના રોગમાંથી મુક્ત થવા આવવા લાગ્યા.

જો માણસ દેવની કાળજી કરતો નથી તો તે મરી જાય ત્યારે તેની પાસે કોઇ આશા રહેતી નથી. દેવ જ્યારે તેનું જીવન લઇ લે છે, તે વ્યકિત ને કોઇ આશા રહેતી નથી.

દુષ્ટ લોકોની કીતિર્ ક્ષણભંગુર છે, તથા નાસ્તિકનો આનંદ ક્ષણિક છે?
2 Kings 7:17
રાજાએ પોતાના અંગત મદદનીશને શહેરના દરવાજાની ચોકી કરવા રોકયો હતો; પણ લોકોએ તેને ત્યાં જ પગ તળે છૂંદીને મારી નાખ્યો. આમ રાજા જયારે દેવના માણસ એલિશાને મળવા આવ્યો હતો ત્યારે એલિશાએ જે વાતની ભવિષ્યવાણી કરી હતી તે સાચી પડી.
