તે દિવસે યહોવાએ બધાં ઇસ્રાએલીઓ સમક્ષ યહોશુઆને મહાપુરુષ બનાવી દીધો. તે સમય પછી સમગ્ર જીવન દરમ્યાન તેઓ યહોશુઆનો આદર કરવા લાગ્યા. જે રીતે તેઓ મૂસાને આદર કરતાં હતાં.
