“જ્યારે તમે લેવી યાજકોને તમાંરા દેવ યહોવાના પવિત્ર કરાર કોશને ઉપાડીને લઈ જતાં જુઓ, ત્યારે બધાંએ છાવણી છોડી તેમને અનુસરવું.

આ 1,44,000 એવા લોકો છે, જેઓએ સ્ત્રીઓ સાથે કોઈ કુકર્મ કર્યું નથી. તેઓએ પોતાની જાતને શુદ્ધ રાખી છે. તેઓ જ્યાં જતા ત્યાં હલવાનને અનુસરતા. પૃથ્વી પરના લોકોમાંથી આ 1,44,000નો ઉદ્ધાર કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. દેવને અને હલવાનને અર્પિત થનાર તેઓ પહેલા હત.

આથી યહોશુઆએ યાજકોને બોલાવ્યાં અને તેમને કહ્યું, “કરારકોશ ઊંચકો, અને 7યાજકોને યહોવાના પવિત્રકોશ આગળ સાત રણશિંગડા લઈને ચાલે.”

જે સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ મૂસાએ યહોશુઆને આપી હતી, તે પ્રમાંણે જે કઈ લોકોને ફરમાંવવાનું યહોવાએ યહોશુઓને કહ્યું હતું તે સધળું પૂરું થયું ત્યાં સુધી યાજકો કરારકોશ સાથે યર્દન નદીની વચ્ચોવચ્ચ ઊભા રહ્યા. અને લોકો ઉતાવળ કરીને નદી પાર કરી ગયા.

તેથી લોકો તેમના તંબુઓમાંથી બહાર નીકળ્યા અને યર્દન નદીને ઓળંગી અને યાજકોએ કરાર કોશ લીધો અને તેમની આગળ ચાલ્યા.

બીજી સવારે યહોશુઓએ યાજકોને આજ્ઞા કરી, “કરાર કોશને ઉપાડી લોકોની આગળ ચાલો.” તેથી તેઓએ કરારકોશ ઉપાડ્યો અને લોકોની આગળ ચાલ્યા.
Numbers 4:15
“હારુન અને તેના પુત્રો મુકામ ઉપાડતી વખતે પવિત્રસ્થાનને અને તેની બધી સાધનસામગ્રીને ઢાંકે અને તે પછી કહાથના કુળોએ તે ઉપાડવા માંટે હાજર થઈ જવું, અને જયાં છાવણી કરવાની હોય ત્યાં બધું લઈ જવું; પરંતુ તેઓએ પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓને અડવું નહિ, અડે તો રખેને તેઓ મૃત્યુ પામે. કહાથના કુળોએ મુલાકાત મંડપમાંથી વસ્તુઓ ઉપાડવાનું પવિત્રકાર્ય કરવાનું છે.
Exodus 13:21
તેઓને દિવસે રસ્તો બતાવવા માંટે યહોવા વાદળના થાંભલા રૂપે આગળ આગળ ચાલતા તેમજ રાત્રે તેમને પ્રકાશ મળે તેથી અગ્નિસ્તંભરૂપે ચાલતા. જેથી તેઓ સતત રાતદિવસ યાત્રા કરી શકતા હતા.
