Joshua 2:12
હવે તમે યહોવાના નામે સોગંદ ખાઈને મને વચન આપો કે, મેં તમાંરા પ્રત્યે જેવો માંયાળુ વર્તાવ રાખ્યો છે તેવો માંયાળુ વર્તાવ તમે માંરા કુટુંબ પ્રત્યે રાખશો, અને એનુ કોઈ ચોક્કસ ચિહન આપો.

| you kindness, | עָשִׂ֥יתִי | ʿāśîtî | ah-SEE-tee |
| עִמָּכֶ֖ם | ʿimmākem | ee-ma-HEM | |
| that ye | חָ֑סֶד | ḥāsed | HA-sed |
| will also | וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶ֨ם | waʿăśîtem | va-uh-see-TEM |
| shew | גַּם | gam | ɡahm |
| kindness | אַתֶּ֜ם | ʾattem | ah-TEM |
| unto | עִם | ʿim | eem |
| father's my | בֵּ֤ית | bêt | bate |
| house, | אָבִי֙ | ʾābiy | ah-VEE |
| and give | חֶ֔סֶד | ḥesed | HEH-sed |
| me a true | וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם | ûnĕtattem | oo-neh-ta-TEM |
| token: | לִ֖י | lî | lee |
| א֥וֹת | ʾôt | ote | |
| אֱמֶֽת׃ | ʾĕmet | ay-MET |
