આ રીતે યહોશુઆએ સંપૂર્ણ ભૂમિ હરાવી: પહાડી દેશ, નેગેબ, પશ્ચિમની તળેટીઓ, ઢોળાવો અને તેમના બધા રાજાઓ. તેણે કોઈને જીવતા જવા દીધાં નહિં. ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવાની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાંણે તેમણે એકએક પ્રાણીનો નાશ કર્યો.
