ઈસુના શિષ્યો તે સમયે જે બનતું હતું તે સમજી શક્યા નહિ. પરંતુ ઈસુ મહિમાવાન થયો, તેઓ સમજ્યા કે આ બાબતો તેના વિષે લખેલી હતી. પછી તે શિષ્યોને યાદ આવ્યું કે લોકોએ તે બધું તેને માટે કર્યુ હતું.
