Jeremiah 49:14

Jeremiah 51:11
તમારાં બાણને ધારદાર બનાવો! તમારા ભાથાં ભરી લો! ઢાલ ઊંચી કરો! કારણ કે બાબિલ પર ચઢાઇ કરી તેનો વિનાશ કરવા યહોવાએ માદીઓના રાજાઓને કહ્યું છે. અનિષ્ટ આચરણ કરનાર મંદિરને અપવિત્ર કરનાર લોકો પર આ રીતે યહોવા વૈર વાળી રહ્યાં છે.

કારણ કે, હું બળવાન પ્રજાઓના જૂથને બાબિલ વિરુદ્ધ ઉશ્કેરવાનો છું. તેઓ ઉત્તરમાંથી આવી એની સામે મોરચો માંડશે અને એને કબજે કરશે. તેમના બાણાવળીઓ કસાયેલા શિકારીની જેમ કદી ખાલી હાથે પાછા નહિ ફરે.
