Jeremiah 44:14
તેથી યહૂદિયાના બાકી રહેલા જે ફરી યહૂદિયા જઇને વસવાની આશાએ મિસરમાં જઇને વસ્યા છે તેમાંથી કોઇ પણ જીવતો રહેવાનો નથી કે પાછો યહૂદિયા જવા પામવાનો નથી, કારણ, થોડા ભાગી છૂટેલા સિવાય કોઇ મારા કોપમાંથી બચી શકવાના નથી.”

તમારામાંથી જે લોકો મિસરમાં જઇને ત્યાં વસવાનો આગ્રહ રાખે છે તે પ્રત્યેક માટે આ વિપત્તિઓ રાહ જોઇ રહી છે. હા, તમે તરવાર, દુકાળ અને મરકીથી મૃત્યુ પામશો. ત્યાં હું તમારા પર જે સર્વ વિપત્તિઓ લાવીશ તેમાંથી કોઇ પણ બચવા પામશે નહિ.’
