Jeremiah 4:26
મેં જોયું, તો ખેતરો વેરાન થઇ ગયાં હતાં, બધાં નગરો ભોંયભેગા થઇ ગયા હતાં, કારણ, યહોવા રોષે ભરાયા હતા.

“યહૂદિયા શોકમાં છે, તેનાં નગરો મરવા પડ્યા છે, તેનાં માણસો દુ:ખના માર્યા ભૂમિ પર ઢળી પડ્યા છે. યરૂશાલેમમાંથી મદદ માટે પોકાર ઊઠે છે.
Micah 3:12
આથી, તમારે કારણે સિયોનને ખેતરની જેમ ખેડી નાખવામાં આવશે, અને યરૂશાલેમ કાટમાળનો ઢગલો થઇ જશે; અને ટેકરી ઉપરનું મંદિર ઝાડી ઝાંખરાથી ઢંકાઇ જશે.
