Jeremiah 34:5
પરંતુ તું તારા લોકો મધ્યે શાંતિથી મૃત્યુ પામશે. જેમ તેમણે તારા પિતૃઓ માટે કર્યું હતું તેમ તારી યાદમાં તારા લોકો ધૂપસળી બાળશે, અને તેઓ તને દિલાસો આપશે અને ગાશે કે, “અરેરે, ઓ રાજા!”‘ આ યહોવાના વચન છે.

2 Chronicles 21:19
બે વર્ષ સુધી તે બહુ જ પીડાયો, તેનાં આંતરડા બહાર નીકળી પડ્યાં અને ભારે વેદના સહીને તે મૃત્યુ પામ્યો. તેની પ્રજાએ તેના પિતાના માનમાં જે અગ્નિ પ્રગટાવી હતી તેવી એના માનમાં પ્રગટાવી નહિ.

યહોવાથી અભિષિકત થયેલો જે અમારા માટે નાકમાંના શ્વાસ જેટલો મહત્વપૂર્ણ હતો તે અમારા શત્રુઓના બંદીવાસમાં બંદી થઇ પડ્યો હતો, અમે કહેતા હતા “અમે તેની છત્રછાયામાં અમારા શત્રુઓની વચ્ચે સુરક્ષિત છીએ.”
Ezekiel 17:16
ના! યહોવા કહે છે કે, “હું ખાતરી પૂર્વક કહું છું કે ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા મૃત્યુ પામશે. જે રાજાએ તેને અધિકાર આપ્યો અને જેના કરારનો ભંગ કર્યો તે રાજાના દેશમાં એટલે બાબિલમાં સિદકિયા મૃત્યુ પામશે.
