હે યહોવા, તમે વિશ્વાસુપણું ચાહો છો. તમે તેઓને પ્રામાણિક બનાવવા પ્રયત્ન કર્યો. તમે તેઓને શિક્ષા કરી પણ તેઓ સુધર્યા નહિ. તમે તેઓને પાયમાલ કર્યા છતાં પોતાના પાપોથી પાછા ફરવા તેઓએ અસંમતિ દર્શાવી. અને પશ્ચાતાપ નહિ કરવાનો તેઓએ નિરધાર કર્યો છે. તેઓ પાષાણથી પણ વધુ કઠણ છે.

“મેં તમારા બાળકોને માર્યા કે તમને સજા થાય પણ તે વ્યર્થ ગયું. તમારામાં કોઇ સુધારો થયો નથી. તમારી જ તરવાર ભૂખ્યા સિંહની જેમ તમારા પ્રબોધકોને ભરખી ગઇ.”
